  • Publication number: 20050109795
Abstract: A fluid dispensing device, suitable for dispensing fluid from a fluid supply to a receptacle, is disclosed, wherein a pliable fluid reservoir is located between the fluid supply and the receptacle, and wherein peristaltic pumps are used to supply and dispense said fluid from the pliable fluid reservoir. The fluid level in the pliable fluid reservoir is electronically monitored with data being transmitted to either or both pumps for the operative control thereof. The pliable fluid reservoir is configured, together with certain connected conduits, as a disposable, easily-installable, single-use unit.

  • Patent number: 6817932
Abstract: A portable, battery operated sanding or surface treatment device well adapted for use on a backyard barbeque grill. A combination handle/battery compartment extends downward from the horizontal element of an L-shaped bracket. An electric motor which is contained inside a motor casing is provided. The motor casing includes a portion of larger diameter and a portion of smaller diameter. Extending from the end of the motor casing of larger diameter is a rotating drive shaft. Attached to the drive shaft is a cylinder drive of predetermined span. An annular bearing assembly is provided whose external diameter is substantially similar to the predetermined span of the cylinder drive and whose internal diameter is slightly larger than the dimension of the smaller portion of the motor casing. The bearing assembly surrounds the smaller portion of the motor casing and the motor casing is screwed to the vertical portion of the L-shaped bracket.

  • Patent number: 4562757
Abstract: A ratchet wrench usable in areas of limited access normally requiring an open-end wrench, but possessing the high torque characteristics of a closed-end socket wrench is disclosed. A handle member terminates in an expandable yoke containing a fixed upper half and an expandable lower half for movement from an expanded open position for receiving a socket to a closed position in driving engagement with the socket. A curved rib is formed transversely on the inner surface of each yoke half. A split ring-like nut driving socket contains exterior ratchet teeth and a circular bore formed transversely through the socket with a recessed counter bore forming a circular guide channel in the socket concentric with the transverse bore. The socket guide channel is received in rotational engagement with the curved ribs of the yoke halves. The socket contains a curved head having lands which in combination define a polygonal wrench opening.
