  • Publication number: 20250090826
Abstract: A graft system may be provided. The graft system may include a graft, a hemostasis valve operably coupled to a proximal end of the graft, and a clamp disposed around the proximal end of the graft and configured to hold the hemostasis valve in place relative to the graft. The graft may include a woven or knitted fabric. The clamp may be removably, or permanently, attached to the graft. The hemostasis valve may include a slit membrane disposed within a housing. The hemostasis valve may include an introducer sheath coupled to the housing. The housing may include two portions coupled together along two axial seams, each axial seam extending from a proximal end to a distal end of the hemostasis valve. A grommet may be coupled to an end of the graft.

  • Publication number: 20230134031
Abstract: A method for controlled purging of a blood pump and a blood pump assembly for implementing the method are provided. The blood pump is in fluid communication with a purging device. The purging device comprises a purge reservoir and a supplemental reservoir configured to be fluidically connected to the blood pump. The purge reservoir is configured to receive a purge fluid and the supplemental reservoir configured to receive a supplemental purge fluid. At least a portion of the blood pump is inserted into a patient and operated. A flow of the purge fluid is provided from the purge reservoir to the blood pump. A purge flow parameter at the blood pump is measured using a measuring device and when it is determined by a controller that the purge flow parameter meets a predetermined threshold, a remediation protocol is identified.

  • Publication number: 20060101038
Abstract: An XML management system, comprising: a repository configured to store a manipulable object model capable of representing metadata about objects in a user's computing environment; user accessible means for manipulating said object model to modify properties of objects thus represented; and means for extending said object model to handle a new type of object by automatically generating descendent class(es) that are able to handle the new object within the object model and incorporating them into an XML management system runtime environment for participation in the object modelling process.

  • Patent number: 4925245
Abstract: A device, include at least two stackable frames, can be converted from a chair into a flatbed, stool or table. The top frame provides a housing for telescoping legs or a telescoping plate and includes vertical and horizontal openings for removably receiving a backrest in a horizontal or vertical orientation. A seat plate, which can support a seat, is attached to and within the first frame. When the telescoping legs or plate are extended forward, the device can be converted from a chair into a flatbed or table by moving the seat to the base formed by the telescoping legs and attaching the backrest horizontally to the first frame. A third frame can be stacked between the first and second frames and the second and third frames can house drawers. The present invention is particularly useful in service station garages. The bottom of the second frame has rollers attached for mobility.
