Abstract: A computer system uses historical sources of information on transcription work performed by transcriptionists (such as medical transcriptionists) to increase the productivity of such transcriptionists by automatically assigning, to those transcriptionists, transcription work that those transcriptionists are more likely to perform efficiently and effectively, based on the properties of transcription jobs previously performed by the transcriptionists and the quality of the work performed by the transcriptionists on those jobs.
