  • Publication number: 20250210964
Abstract: An intelligent circuit breaker system and method for managing overcurrent conditions includes a current sensor configured to measure electrical current applied to a power line load, a memory storing trip curve data, and a processor configured to evaluate the measured current against a pre-established threshold. Upon detecting an overcurrent condition, the processor starts a timer, evaluates the duration of the overcurrent against the trip curve, and disconnects the load when specified conditions are met. The system can dynamically adjust threshold values based on environmental factors, log operational data, and select appropriate trip curves for specific load types. A user interface provides real-time feedback on current values, timer status, and load disconnection events. Additionally, the system can automatically reset and reconnect the load upon return to safe operating conditions.

  • Publication number: 20250211023
Abstract: A power distribution management system dynamically manages power from an inverter to ensure uninterrupted supply to critical devices, such as power tools, while selectively controlling power to interruptible devices, such as battery chargers, to maintain total current below a predefined threshold. The system includes a microcontroller, an analog-to-digital converter for precise current measurement, and a powerline communications module for real-time data exchange. Current transformers monitor power to each connected device, enabling the system to identify and disconnect lower-priority loads, such as battery chargers, during high-demand periods, while ensuring essential tools remain powered. The system automatically restores power to disconnected devices when load conditions allow, optimizing efficiency and preventing overloading. This intelligent power management approach is particularly suited for portable or hybrid power systems in industrial and field applications.

  • Publication number: 20250210963
Abstract: A system for managing electrical loads includes a smart circuit breaker that measures and transmits real-time current data and an updated trip threshold to a power controller. The power controller communicates with a power distribution module (PDM) that calculates available current by subtracting the present current and a safety margin from the trip threshold. The PDM dynamically disconnects or reconnects subloads, such as batteries, via relays to prevent breaker trips while maximizing circuit utilization. The system supports real-time monitoring, load prioritization, and logging, with optional user notifications. Method steps include transmitting breaker data, computing available current, and selectively controlling subloads, while software enables these functions through stored instructions for monitoring, load allocation, and event tracking. The arrangement ensures stable operation and efficient power distribution across connected devices.

  • Publication number: 20240039270
Abstract: A multi-socket power extension source includes a power inlet port, and power outlets coupled to the power inlet port through switches. The multi-socket power extension source includes a controller configured to control the switches. The controller is configured to repetitively determine if an estimate of a total current through the power inlet port exceeds a prescribed current limit. When the estimated total current exceeds the prescribed current limit, the controller is configured to identify the outlet having the largest current increase and turn off the switch coupled to that outlet. The controller is further configured to reconnect the surge outlet, when an updated estimated total current is less than the prescribed current limit by at least the current of the surge outlet, or after a prescribed reconnect time period. The multi-socket power extension source may be coupled to a secondary multi-socket power extension source in an expansion configuration.

  • Patent number: 11266434
Abstract: A sheath comprises an elastomeric tube having a self-expanding scaffold coupled to a wall. The scaffold can expand to a diameter larger than the tube diameter to provide an enlarged distal opening. An aspiration catheter has a balloon and an aspiration port so that occlusive material can be removed from a blood vessel by drawing the balloon through the vessel while simultaneously aspirating through the port.
