  • Patent number: 11807051
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to tire servicing operations and, more specifically, to an improved tire bead seating device. The bead seating device may include an inlet configured to receive pressurized air. The inlet may couple to two or more outlets extending outwardly from a shell of the device. Further, a leg may extend downwardly from each outlet and include a nozzle for directing a pressurized gas into a cavity of a tire. In particular, pressurized air may be delivered via the nozzles to force the tire bead onto the rim flange. Advantageously, the bead seating device may emit a high volume of air through each nozzle to accommodate for wheel assemblies of different diameters.

  • Patent number: 10807425
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to towing devices. More specifically, the invention relates to a towing device configured to be mounted on a towing vehicle having a fifth wheel. The towing device may include a horizontal member and a vertical member. A frame pan extends below the horizontal member and includes connection members which are movable through slits and configured to engage and secure to the frame of the towing vehicle. The vertical member of the towing device includes a hitch assembly to facilitate the connection of a hitch, such as a pintle or ball hitch, to a coupler of a trailer.

  • Patent number: 10053180
Abstract: Improved suspension and steering systems for a trike may include a steering assembly including a power steering assembly coupled to a steering wheel and a front frame assembly. The front frame assembly may include a front plate coupled to a steering hub and two front suspension piston and sleeve assemblies. The front plate and steering hub may be positioned above the front tire so that front tire rotates about an axis that is substantially perpendicular with the surface of the road. This system reduces and/or eliminates problems associated with traditional steering assemblies, such as wheel flop, limited tire life, driver burden, and the like. In addition, the front suspension piston and sleeve assemblies also may be positioned substantially perpendicularly to the road surface to reduce and/or eliminate lateral forces on the trike and changes to the overall geometry of the trike during usage.

  • Patent number: 9969214
Abstract: Improved wheel removal tools may include a frame, one or more removal members movably coupled to the frame and one or more connection members coupled to a respective removal member. In operation, the frame may be attached to the wheel, such as at one or more wheel studs or bolts, and the connection members may be attached to the wheel, such as by engaging apertures in the wheel. The base may be configured to leverage the wheel studs—rather than the axle hub—during the wheel removal process. Once engaged with the wheel, the removal members may be moved away from the wheel by an operator so that the connection members pull the wheel to dislodge the seized wheel from the vehicle.
