Abstract: This invention relates to systems and methods for managing livestock, such as cattle, from conception to consumption. More particularly, this invention relates to systems and methods in which users, such as producers, feedlot managers, packers, buyers, sellers, and consumers, are brought together through shared information and improved communication. Users may access one or more applications, tools, and/or systems to increase the value of each animal, monitor and track each animal, and improve the efficiency of their operation.

Abstract: A method and system to monitor a high voltage power relay operable to conduct electrical power from a source to a load, during each vehicle shutdown event. The system includes the electrical relay with a resistive device, electrically connected in parallel circuit, a controllable electrical load device, and a sensing device. A controller is connected to the electrical relay and each sensing device, and operable to identify a low electrical load condition at the load. The controller commands the load to operate at a known current draw level, commands the relay open, and monitors a change in power to the load device when the relay is commanded open. The electrical relay is functioning properly when the change in electrical power to the load exhibits a known profile over time, when the electrical relay is controlled to the commanded-open position.

Abstract: The present invention provides a means for constructing a brushless canned motor that is compact enough to be suitable for use in small appliances, such as electronic devices. The rotating parts of the motor are encapsulated within a can such that the motor can be hermetically connected to a driven device.

At normal pressure and when the engine is off, the bleed valve is in the open position. However once the engine starts, air pressure provided by the compressor closes the bleed valve. During engine operation, the bleed valve is opened to relieve air pressure by providing pressurized fluid, such as compressor air, to a valve chamber. The bleed valve is designed so that moveable parts of the valve, including contact seals and a sliding shaft, are protected by the valve structure from debris and contaminants carried in the engine's air stream.

A plurality of closely spaced independently rotatable rollers of smooth cylindrical form and uniform size are mounted on each spindle to make a row, with the rows being closely spaced. Hand grips are provided either at the sides of the apparatus or at one end thereof.
