    Abstract: A mitigation service may be used to mitigate a network attack in a network including a group of mitigation devices. Datagrams, intended for a customer that is subject of a network attack, may be received by at least one of the mitigation devices based on an anycast address associated with the mitigation devices. Each of the mitigation devices is addressable via the anycast address. The received datagrams may be processed to remove malicious datagrams and leave legitimate datagrams. The legitimate datagrams may be forwarded to the customer via a tunnel configured between an address associated with the customer and the anycast address associated with the mitigation devices.

    Abstract: A quick connector is adapted to be attached to a fluid-containing vessel, such as an aerosol can. The quick connector includes a body having a passage through which fluid can flow when the quick connector is attached to the vessel. The quick connector preferably includes an attachment mechanism in the form of a plurality of radially flexible legs angularly disposed around a longitudinal axis of the passage and extending proximally from the body. An inwardly disposed finger is disposed at the proximal end of each of the legs. The locking ring travels between a first position in which the legs are free to flex outwardly and a second position in which the legs flex inwardly such that the fingers engage the vessel rim when the quick connector is attached to the vessel. Some embodiments include a floating capitulator to accommodate vessels having fluid delivery stems of varying sizes.

    Abstract: A system and method for generating tornadoes and other vortex phenomen in an open air, free space enviroment is disclosed. The system includes a flat surface or deck suspended above the ground, a circular hole in the center of the deck, a means for creating an updraft through the hole in the deck and fans or other air moving means for creating a swirling air flow. Preferably, the fans for swirling the air are angled approximately 45 degrees relative to the vertical axis of the updraft flow through the center hole. For swirling the air at higher elevations, as well as at ground level, a multi level fan arrangement having the layers of fans spaced relative to the deck is used. Alternatively, a single level of fans are used in conjunction with louvers or vanes for deflecting the blown air into a fan shape. In another embodiment of the present invention, tangential flow is established by using a multiplicity of tubes for returning air flow from a plenum above an updraft fan.
