Abstract: An expert system for extracting data found within heterogeneous data sets and making corresponding inferences in order to infer target variable values is disclosed. In one example, the expert system breaks down electronic datasets of asset accounts and analyzes them to extract relevant variables and perform corresponding verification and validation. The expert system may, for example, be configured determine if direct deposit of salary is evidence of sufficient gross income to meet debt to income requirements in a loan application process.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a process for producing a plastic container with a barrier coating comprising a) applying at least one coating layer of a first polyvinyl acetal on at least a part of the plastic container; b) applying at least one coating layer of polyvinyl alcohol on the first polyvinyl acetal layer; c) applying at least one top coating layer of a second polyvinyl acetal on the polyvinyl alcohol layer. The surface of the plastic container may be pre-treated before coating. In addition to the barrier coating, the surface energy of at least a part of the inside surface of the plastic container may be increased by applying at least one inner hydrophilic coating layer.

Abstract: Automatically rendering a new valuation for a subject based on real-time property characteristic alterations or manipulations using a comparable selection model. A user alters one or more property characteristics for the subject and the comparable selection model determines a ranked listing of comparable properties for the subject in a given geographical area based on those alterations. The comparables are then displayed in a ranked order that reflects the alterations based on prior data point changes.

Abstract: A ceramic element, e.g., a sapphire dome, is joined to a metallic element, e.g., a vehicle body comprising a titanium alloy, by an attachment structure, e.g., comprising niobium. The attachment structure comprises: (1) a form-factored, compliant metallic transition element having a “C” shape; (2) a first joint material connecting an upper portion of the transition element to the ceramic element; and (3) a second joint material connecting a lower portion of the transition element to the metallic element. A method is provided for attaching the ceramic element to the metallic element, using a single brazing operation. The presence of the attachment structure further minimizes the stresses related to the different coefficients of thermal expansion in the ceramic/attachment/titanium connection.
