  • Publication number: 20190155398
Abstract: A method includes displaying information associated with a first application on a touch-sensitive display of an electronic device. A gesture is detected on the touch-sensitive display, which gesture indicates a request to display information associated with a second application. At least part of the information associated with the second application is displayed without opening the second application.

  • Publication number: 20180368857
Abstract: In some examples, a vessel closure system includes a catheter configured to be introduced into a vessel of a patient, the catheter defining a catheter lumen, and a closure device configured to be received within the catheter lumen. In some instances, the closure device may include an elongated flexible member and one or more anchors attached to the elongated flexible member. The anchors may be distributed along a length of the elongated flexible member, and each anchor may include an anchor head configured to be introduced into a wall of the vessel and engage with the wall of the vessel to cause the wall to move radially inward in response to a proximal pulling force applied to the elongated flexible member.

  • Patent number: 9891907
Abstract: Device component status detection and illustration apparatuses, methods, and systems determine and generate visualizations of updates timelines indicating device components associated with a remote connected device at different times. A device component status detection and illustration apparatus may include a memory and processor with instructions to: obtain device selection parameters, determine one or more remote connected devices that satisfy the device selection parameters, and identify a remote connected device selected from one or more remote connected devices by a user. The instructions may further be executed to generate visualizations of updates timelines associated with the remote connected device, including information regarding device components associated with the identified remote connected device as of selected update times. This allows the apparatus to present information regarding the status of a particular device at different points in time.

  • Patent number: 9747096
Abstract: The Remote Embedded Device Update Platform Apparatuses, Methods and Systems (“REDUP”) transforms telemetry inputs via REDUP components into remote embedded updates outputs. The REDUP may include a memory and processor with instructions to: obtain a remote embedded device connection request message from a remote embedded device and analyze the message to determine a version of embedded instructions on the remote embedded device. With that, the REDUP may determine if other remote embedded devices similar to the remote embedded device have provided request messages by searching a remote embedded device connection request message database. This allows the REDUP to determine if a potential issue requiring updates on the remote embedded device exists. With that, the REDUP may determine and provide an update for the remote embedded device.

  • Patent number: 9290916
Abstract: A removable hydrant nozzle with a locking arrangement for securing the nozzle in a nozzle opening. The locking arrangement includes an axially movable slide configured to selectively engage a portion of the hydrant adjacent the nozzle opening, such as a lug mouth in a quarter-turn fitting. The slide is mounted to a slide housing and is spring loaded. In use, the slide automatically retracts as the nozzle is inserted into the nozzle opening and automatically extends into locking engagement with the mouth when the nozzle becomes fully seated. Once engaged, the slide prevents removal of the nozzle until manually disengaged. The slide may be movably mounted on a pair of shoulder bolts. The slide may include a paddle that extends outwardly where it is accessible to the operator. The nozzle may include a handle and a seal fitted onto the inner axial end of the nozzle.
