Abstract: Disclosed is a sanitizing device, system and method of sanitizing objects, such as, for example an article of footwear. In further aspects, the present disclosure relates to a sanitizing device, system and method of sanitizing objects configured such that it sanitizes the base or surface of an article of footwear while a user is standing on the device. In another exemplary aspect, the disclosure relates to a steaming apparatus, system and method of sanitizing objects configured such that it utilizes a steamed chemical to clean the underside of an article of footwear while a user is standing on the apparatus. In further aspects, the disclosure also relates to a steaming apparatus, system and method of sanitizing objects configured such that a chemical may be used in combination with steam to clean the underside of an object or article of footwear while a user stands on the apparatus.
