  • Publication number: 20080209843
Abstract: A rebar support device for retaining rebar in a position for reinforcing concrete, and method of using the same is claimed. The rebar support device comprises at least one concrete bonding opening dispersed throughout, at least one rebar support chase with bendable retaining gates, and at least one grade stake support hole. The rebar support device is held in a vertical position for receiving rebar by driving a grade stake through the stake support holes, such that the rebar support device is disposed perpendicularly to the rebar it receives. The rebar is then cradled in one or more of the support chases and retained by a bendable retaining gate incorporated into each rebar support device above each support chase.

  • Patent number: 6581587
Abstract: An apparatus for opening an outdoor grill cover using an activation device and an opening mechanism. The activation device is attached to one end of the opening mechanism, and the activation device is positioned such that a grill user can access it. The opening mechanism is attached to the grill cover at an opposing end such that the activation device actuates the opening of the grill cover. The apparatus further includes a closing mechanism coupled to the opening mechanism such that the closing mechanism allows for gentle closure of the grill cover.

  • Patent number: 4464744
Abstract: Both the turntable and the housing of the player are provided with hook-like projections which are brought into alignment whenever the turntable motor is switched off. These projections safeguard against accidental separation of the turntable from the unit, e.g., during handling. For service, the turntable is rotated slightly until the hooks are not in registration, and then the turntable is lifted away from the player.

  • Patent number: 4397627
Abstract: A center plate for an apparatus for molding recorded discs is disclosed which includes a cylindrical body having an internal recess and a plug secured across the bottom end of the recess. The plug has a pair of passages therethrough opening into the internal recess. An adapter is secured to the plug. The adapter has a pair of ports and a separate universal connection between each of the ports and a separate one of the passages in the plug. This provides for a flow of a heat control medium through the center plate and permits ease of connecting pipes to the ports to provide the flow of the heat control medium.

  • Patent number: 4124118
Abstract: The disclosure concerns a protective package for a video disc of the type having a pair of finger holes in the label area. The package includes a base member having a well for removably receiving the video disc. A pair of rotational restraints are secured to the base member for effecting engagement with the finger holes during the containment of the video disc in the well, such engagement preventing rotational motion of the video disc relative to the base member. A cover member is secured to the base member for enclosing the video disc in the well. Pursuant to another embodiment of the present invention, the rotational restraints are removably secured to the base member, instead of being integral therewith in accordance with the first embodiment.
