  • Publication number: 20240065784
Abstract: Robotic systems for orthopedic surgery are provided. The robotic systems may include at least first and second motors coupled to each other. An output shaft of one of the motors may be connectable to a surgical tool guide. An output shaft of another of the motors may be coupled to a portion of a ball and socket joint. A corresponding portion of the ball and socket joint may be coupled to a bone mount which may be attached to a bone to mount the first and second motors to bone for performing orthopedic surgical procedures.

  • Publication number: 20190163761
Abstract: A computer accesses a target application to retrieve a plurality of target properties that correspond to a plurality of target styles of the target application and accesses a source to a plurality of source properties that correspond to a plurality of source styles of the source. Generating a target list that list the plurality of target properties and target styles, and generating a source list that list the plurality of source properties and source styles. Comparing the plurality of target styles from the target list to the plurality of source styles from the source. In response to matching some of the plurality of target styles to some of plurality of source styles, replacing the properties that correspond to the match plurality of target styles with the properties of the match plurality of source styles. Transmitting the replaced properties that correspond to the plurality of target styles.

  • Patent number: 6675536
Abstract: The apparatus is used for closing and securing a door in its frame. A movable wedge is supported in a slot in the frame. A closing mechanism is employed for closing the door and a second mechanism is employed for moving the wedge into a slot formed in the edge of the door when the door is closed. A shape memory wire is used in conjunction with the closing mechanism for allowing the closing mechanism to close the door. A second shape memory wire is used in conjunction with the second mechanism for allowing the second mechanism to move the wedge from the frame slot into the door slot when the door is closed for securing the door to the frame.

  • Patent number: 6533751
Abstract: A micro catheter and guidewire system for use in tortuous regions of a vasculature includes a catheter body having a distal end, a guidewire lumen, a proximal region with an outer diameter, and a distal region with an outer diameter. The ratio of the proximal region outer diameter to the distal region outer diameter is at least 1.625:1 to improve pushability of the catheter body. The guidewire lumen defines a stopper and the guidewire has a depth stop for engaging the stopper of the guidewire lumen. The depth stop and the stopper cooperate to enable the guidewire to cooperate with the catheter to improve catheter pushability. The depth stop and the stopper also prevent over extension of the guidewire.

  • Patent number: 5109595
Abstract: Fiberoptic sensors of various configurations are provided for measuring the magnitude of the electric or magnetic fields, and thereby the power, at local points within a relatively high-power electromagnetic heating environment such as occurs, for example, in a microwave oven or an industrial microwave processing chamber. Each type of sensor includes one element that is heated by either the oscillating electric or magnetic field, and an optical temperature measuring element positioned to be heated by the first element, its temperature being optically determined by an instrument to which an opposite end of the optical fiber length is connected.
