In one embodiment, the method comprises providing a cylinder of material, the cylinder having an outside diameter and an inside diameter, the inside diameter having a first dimension, forming a plurality of stent posts on an end of the cylinder, and increasing the inside diameter of the cylinder of material to a second dimension, the second dimension being greater than the first dimension.
