    Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates systems and techniques for classification of signs and gestures pertaining to traffic and, more specifically, to autonomous vehicle based classification of signs and gestures of humans controlling traffic (HCTs). In some aspects, the present disclosure provides a process for identifying, using one or more sensors of an autonomous vehicle (AV), a human controlling traffic (HCT) and recognizing a set of instructions from the HCT, wherein the set of instructions comprises a set of sensory data. In some aspects, the process can further include operations for modifying a trajectory of the AV based on the set of instructions received from the HCT and based on a determination on whether the set of instructions are intended for the AV.

    Abstract: A method and device for testing a substantially cylindrical tool having an axis is performed by imparting a testing torque to the cylindrical tool. The tool is clamped in a vise. The tool has a driven end including a shank and a working end in opposed relation along the axis. The vise is configured to clamp the tool to prevent rotation of the tool about the axis. The shank is clamped in a chuck. The chuck has a adapter defining a void configured to engagingly receive a socket drive shaft. A torque wrench having a lever arm and a socket driver shaft is engaged by insertion of the socket drive shaft into the void. A torque is imparted to the cylindrical tool about its axis by suitably imparting a force on the lever arm. The quantum of torque imparted is measured based upon operation of the torque wrench.

The node index records are batched in accordance with a hierarchy of documents from which they were derived. The index node records are stored in a work queue which is divided into stages. The first stage of the work queue includes a system administrator connected to the database which identifies a work flow comprising several processes to be carried out on the node index records and related image files. A plurality of workstations networked to the database carry out the work flow process and upon completion of each process, restores the index node records to a lower stage of the work queue where subsequent processes are carried out by the networked computer workstations.
