  • Patent number: 8973617
Abstract: A pipe is provided for use in a geothermal heat exchange system. The pipe is insertable in a bore hole having a proximal end disposed relatively closer to a surface of the earth, and a distal end disposed relatively further from the surface of the earth. The pipe comprises an inflow pipe portion having a first end and a second end, an outer wall portion and an inner wall portion extending between the first and second ends for defining an inflow chamber that extends generally between the first end and the second end of the inflow pipe portion. Water can flow through the inflow chamber between the first and second ends of the inflow pipe portion in a direction toward the distal end of the bore hole.

  • Patent number: 8511368
Abstract: A pipe for use in a geothermal heat exchange system is disclosed that is insertable into a bore hole having a proximal end and a distal end. The pipe has a proximal end, a distal end and an outer wall member. The outer wall member includes an external surface, and an interior surface defining an interior passageway through which a heat exchange fluid can flow. The pipe also includes a divider extending between opposed points of the interior surface for dividing the interior passageway into an inflow passageway for conducting water from the proximal end to the distal end of the pipe, and an outflow passageway for conducting water from the distal end to the proximal end of the pipe. The divider segregates the water in the outflow passageway from the water in the inflow passageway.

  • Patent number: 7999012
Abstract: Disclosed is a system to mechanically destroy printer toner cartridges and reclaim their constituent materials under a water shielded environment while providing a safer and more environmentally friendly recycling system. The present invention is an economical system that provides greater protection from possible fire or explosion and releases less irritating or possibly harmful airborne contamination than the currently available systems.

  • Publication number: 20070062686
Abstract: Methods and apparatus provides an improved shunt nozzle which is part of an alternative pathway for a slurry to by-pass an obstruction such as a sand bridge during gravel packing. The nozzle includes a hardened insert that lines a surface of an aperture in a shunt. A jacket secured to the shunt receives the insert, which is trapped from movement relative to the jacket.
