  • Publication number: 20250127248
Abstract: A bowling wrist brace device includes a brace which extends along a substantial length of a bowler's forearm when the brace is worn on the bowler's forearm. The brace has a forearm attachment, a wrist attachment and a hand attachment and the brace is comprised of a rigid material to inhibit flexion in the bowler's wrist when the bowler releases a bowling ball. A cushion is bonded to the brace to enhance comfort for the bowler. A plurality of belts is each attached to the brace and each of the belts can be wrapped around a respective one of the bowler's forearm, the bowler's wrist and the bowler's hand. Each of the plurality of belts is releasably matable to a respective one of the forearm attachment, the wrist attachment and the hand attachment to secure the brace to the bowler's forearm.

  • Patent number: 9695826
Abstract: A centrifugal pump comprises a pump assembly, through which a fluid can be impelled. The pump assembly includes a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, a fluid casing, and an impellor positioned within the fluid casing, the impellor being driven by a power source and being operable to generate fluid flow within the fluid casing from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet. The pump assembly also includes a volute area formed on a periphery of the fluid casing, the volute area being operable to receive fluid pressurized by flow induced by the impellor. A pitot tube is positioned within the volute area, the pitot tube being operable to receive pressurized fluid from the volute area and pass the fluid through an outlet having an expanding geometry that increases the flow rate of the fluid as it passes through the outlet.

  • Publication number: 20070090211
Abstract: A centrifugal pump of the chopper type is disclosed which is structured with a chopper plate and impeller that are configured with an open eye or “hubless” arrangement such that processing of solids through the pump does not result in clogging of solids at or near the center of the impeller, thereby producing a dead zone. Because the configuration of the chopper pump of the present invention avoids the development of a central dead zone or clogging of solids, and provides for flow of solids and fluid through the eye of the impeller, pump efficiencies are markedly improved.

  • Publication number: 20060288528
Abstract: A vehicle instrument panel includes a glove box opening defined by a door frame, and a door hinged to the door frame. A threaded aperture is formed in the door frame. A one-piece elastomeric bumper has a threaded shank that threads into the threaded aperture to mount the bumper. The bumper has an abutment face that engages the door to establish a closed position of the door. Rotation of the threaded bumper advances or withdraws the abutment face so that the closed position is adjusted. A detent acts between the door frame and the bumper to retain the bumper at a selected rotary position, with the detent being released when the threaded shank of the bumper is stretched axially. A grip is molded into the bumper to facilitate axial stretching to release the detent and rotation to adjust the position of the abutment face.

  • Publication number: 20060210756
Abstract: The CD Cling is a thin flexible and printable polymer used to protect audio, video and data optical storage disc by using static cling to adhere to the data side of the disc without leaving any residue or damaging the disc in any way. The protector also creates a new avenue for advertising and marketing by allowing clients to print logos and other marketing graphics on the side not being adhered to the optical storage disc. The protector also has a tab built into the design of the protector for removing and applying said protector. The size of the polymer protector will be the same diameter of the optical disc it is protecting which in return will require no additional storage space.

  • Publication number: 20050071262
Abstract: A system and method for managing grants received from one or more sponsors is proposed. The grants management system receives a transaction request and retrieves data associated with the transaction request from a data cube. The grants management system then determines, from the perspective of the sponsors, if the transaction request satisfies administrative and financial requirements imposed by the sponsors. If the administrative and financial requirements are satisfied, the transaction request is admitted.

  • Publication number: 20050047908
Abstract: Axial adjustment apparatus is provided in a centrifugal pump to effect adjustment of the impeller relative to adjacent pump elements. Specifically preferred is adjustment apparatus in a chopper pump that provides adjustment of the impeller relative to a chopper plate to facilitate continuous efficient cutting of solids by the pump. The adjustment apparatus may also include adjustment structure for providing axial adjustment between the impeller and a plate-like member positioned adjacent the drive side of the impeller to effect adjustment of cutting tolerances in cutting elements positioned between the impeller and plate-like member.
