Abstract: A bowling wrist brace device includes a brace which extends along a substantial length of a bowler's forearm when the brace is worn on the bowler's forearm. The brace has a forearm attachment, a wrist attachment and a hand attachment and the brace is comprised of a rigid material to inhibit flexion in the bowler's wrist when the bowler releases a bowling ball. A cushion is bonded to the brace to enhance comfort for the bowler. A plurality of belts is each attached to the brace and each of the belts can be wrapped around a respective one of the bowler's forearm, the bowler's wrist and the bowler's hand. Each of the plurality of belts is releasably matable to a respective one of the forearm attachment, the wrist attachment and the hand attachment to secure the brace to the bowler's forearm.

Abstract: A centrifugal pump of the chopper type is disclosed which is structured with a chopper plate and impeller that are configured with an open eye or “hubless” arrangement such that processing of solids through the pump does not result in clogging of solids at or near the center of the impeller, thereby producing a dead zone. Because the configuration of the chopper pump of the present invention avoids the development of a central dead zone or clogging of solids, and provides for flow of solids and fluid through the eye of the impeller, pump efficiencies are markedly improved.

Abstract: A vehicle instrument panel includes a glove box opening defined by a door frame, and a door hinged to the door frame. A threaded aperture is formed in the door frame. A one-piece elastomeric bumper has a threaded shank that threads into the threaded aperture to mount the bumper. The bumper has an abutment face that engages the door to establish a closed position of the door. Rotation of the threaded bumper advances or withdraws the abutment face so that the closed position is adjusted. A detent acts between the door frame and the bumper to retain the bumper at a selected rotary position, with the detent being released when the threaded shank of the bumper is stretched axially. A grip is molded into the bumper to facilitate axial stretching to release the detent and rotation to adjust the position of the abutment face.

Abstract: A lanyard for electronic message devices, such as cell phones, includes in one embodiment a carabiner clip for attaching the cell phones to an item of clothing such as a belt loop or to a handle of a purse. In another embodiment, the lanyard is configured as a relatively long loop so as to be worn around the person's neck. The cell phone is attached to the lanyard by a quick release key ring coupler. In accordance with a first arrangement, the cell phone is connected to the lanyard by a split ring and in accordance with a second embodiment, the cell phone is connected by a looped strand.
