Publication number: 20240114497Abstract: In some aspects, the present disclosure provides methods, apparatuses, and systems for efficient thermal mitigation while maintaining wireless device performance on a primary component carrier (PCC). Embodiments described may include implementation of target transceiver module configurations, where bandwidth (e.g., PCC bands and secondary component carrier (SCC) bands) may be monitored by a wireless device based on intra-module target configurations and/or inter-module target configurations. An intra-module target configuration may include a target transceiver module monitoring both PCC bands and SCC bands. An inter-module target configuration may include or refer to a plurality of target transceiver modules together monitoring PCC bands and SCC bands.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 13, 2023Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Mahbod GHELICHI, James Francis GEEKIE, Raghu Narayan CHALLA, Mihir Vijay LAGHATE, Ruhua HE, Yong LI

Patent number: 11946702Abstract: A nuclear reactor includes a heat exchanger that transfers thermal energy from a primary reactor coolant to a secondary coolant. The heat exchanger is formed with a hot flow channel, a cold flow channel, and a porous layer between the hot flow channel and the cold flow channel. The porous layer may be thermally insulative to reduce the efficiency of thermal energy transfer from the hot flow channel to the cold flow channel. The porous layer may have a control gas passed therethrough that can be tailored to control the thermal energy transfer through the porous layer. The control gas can be tested for leakage within the heat exchanger. The control gas may also be used to sequester fission or activation products.Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 2021Date of Patent: April 2, 2024Assignee: TERRAPOWER, LLCInventors: Joon Hyung Choi, Daniel Eichel, Mei He, Pavel Hejzlar, Mathieu G. Patent number: 11928099Abstract: Time and value ordering may be applied for items stored in data backups. A change log that persists changes to a data set may be updated with changes and used to update an in-memory table for the data set, which describes changes to items up to a current time. An event may be detected to seal the in-memory table from subsequent updates and a persistent data object that orders the items in the in-memory according to both keys of the respective items and the respective time values of the items, as stored in the change log, may be generated and stored as part of a backup for the data set.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2022Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: James Christopher Sorenson, III, Hao He, Nicholas Gordon, Mrithyunjaya Kumar Annapragada
