  • Patent number: 9674629
Abstract: Disclosed are methods for selecting auditory signal components for reproduction by means of one or more supplementary sound reproducing transducers, such as loudspeakers, placed between a pair of primary sound reproducing transducers, such as left and right loudspeakers in a stereophonic loudspeaker setup or adjacent loudspeakers in a surround sound loudspeaker setup. Also disclosed are devices for carrying out the above methods and systems of such devices.

  • Patent number: 8766985
Abstract: An animation processor comprises a processor, an instruction memory, a working memory, inputs and outputs, and an input for receiving an input animation sequence comprising a plurality of time-sequenced frames, storage for a style image pair, comprising an input style image and an output style image, wherein differences between the input style image and an output style image convey a style for drawings and other visual elements, logic for generating set of time-varying orientation fields, logic for rendering velocity fields for the sequences, and an output for outputting an output animation sequence that takes on the style specified by the style image pair, with the output animation sequence having temporal coherence.

  • Publication number: 20130010970
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for selecting auditory signal components for reproduction by means of one or more supplementary sound reproducing transducers, such as loudspeakers, placed between a pair of primary sound reproducing transducers, such as left and right loudspeakers in a stereophonic loudspeaker setup or adjacent loudspeakers in a surround sound loudspeaker setup, the method comprising the steps of (i) specifying azimuth angle range within which one of said supplementary sound reproducing transducers is located or is to be located and a listening direction; (Ii) based on said azimuth angle range and said listening direction, determining left and right interaural level difference limits and left and right interaural time difference limits, respectively; (iii) providing a pair of input signals for said pair of primary sound reproducing transducers; (iv) pre-processing each of said input signals, thereby providing a pair of pre-processed input signals; (v) determining interaural level dif

  • Publication number: 20090215547
Abstract: A golf stroke alignment aid of particular use during putting, comprises a rectangular marker on the ball (2) and one or more similar markers on the club (2a, 2b, 2c) so as to be visible by the player from above. Each rectangular marker has a forward line of increased thickness (4, 4a, 4b, 4c) relative to that of other lines defining the rectangle. By aligning the marker(s) on the club with that on the ball improved visual alignment and visual memorising is obtained to assist in squaring the club face at impact.
