  • Publication number: 20230061369
Abstract: A system and method for detecting a flow rate using ultrasound is disclosed. A flow rate detector includes a disposable conduit section and a reusable sensor chassis, the chassis configured to fit over an outer surface of the conduit section, the chassis configured to attach along a length of the of the disposable conduit section, and including first and second transducers configured to, when the reusable chassis is attached to the conduit section, measure a flow rate of a fluid passing through the conduit section by measuring an ultrasonic transmission between the first and second transducers through the fluid. The ultrasonic transmission is reflected at least once off of the inner surface of the disposable conduit before being received at the second transducer.

  • Patent number: 11562130
Abstract: A multidimensional data cube at a server may store values and functions. The functions may use values stored in the data cube as inputs to generate results. A client application may retrieve values stored at a server in a multidimensional data cube to be updated and viewed locally at the client. Instead of evaluating functions at the server and transmitting the results to the client, the functions themselves may be translated into equivalent functions that can be evaluated in real time at the client. As inputs to the functions are a changed at the client, the function results can be updated at the client without requiring back-and-forth transmissions to the server or additional queries to the data cube.

  • Publication number: 20220323671
Abstract: An infusion line harness includes a rectangular material with first and second anchor tabs opposing ends of a first longitudinal edge of the rectangular material such as to extend the first longitudinal edge of the material to include a length of the first and second anchor tabs. The rectangular material includes one or more first fasteners positioned on the rectangular material along the first longitudinal edge and one or more complimentary fasteners positioned along the second longitudinal edge and which are configured to connect to the one or more first fasteners, the first fasteners and second fasteners being positioned such that when connected to each other the rectangular material forms a tubular structure. The first and second anchor tabs each are configured to wrap around a respective object and fasten to itself, or to a respective portion of the rectangular material, to anchor the harness to the respective object.

  • Publication number: 20220126020
Abstract: A method of detecting a fault condition in an infusion process, the method includes receiving a programmed flow rate pertaining to a fluid infusion provided by an infusion device; determining, a first weight of an infusion container associated with the fluid infusion provided by the infusion device at a first time; determining a second weight of the infusion container at a second time; determining based on the first weight and the second weight, a determined flow rate of the fluid infusion provided by the infusion device between the first time and the second time. The method includes determining a difference between the determined flow rate and the programmed flow rate. When a magnitude of the difference between the determined flow rate and the programmed flow rate satisfies a predetermined threshold, by the processor: causing an output of the infusion device or the weight sensor to indicate the fault condition.

  • Publication number: 20070028072
Abstract: Mapping of address space by providing real storage including first and second address spaces. The second address space is smaller than and contained within the first address space. Provided within virtual storage is a system execution space. Providing within the system execution space is a system execution area having a size equal to or less than the second address space. The system execution area includes a control program having a first portion capable of addressing the first address space and the system execution space, a second portion constrained to address only the second address space and the system execution area, and at least one alias page. Responsive to a control program request for a first page in the virtual storage, a first frame is assigned in real storage corresponding to the page. Responsive to a request from the second portion of the control program for the first page, allocating an alias page in the system execution area, the alias page backed by the first frame.
