  • Patent number: 11965457
Abstract: A method and apparatus that circumvents belt path obstacles in a Corvette C8 engine for transferring auxiliary power from the engine crankshaft output pulley to a supercharger input pulley by using a drive path transfer apparatus including a transfer input pulley located in the same plane as the crankshaft pulley and connected to it with the main drive belt, a transfer output pulley in a second plane spaced inboard of the first plane including the supercharger pulley, a secondary belt joining the transfer output pulley and the supercharger pulley, and a coupling shaft having the transfer input pulley at one end and the transfer output pulley at the other end, the coupling shaft being rotationally mounted in a two-piece installable bracket secured on the engine block in a location to the side of the obstruction, thereby transferring power from the engine to the supercharger without interference from the obstruction.

  • Patent number: 11670973
Abstract: A charging system for a peripheral device, such as a stylus, including orientation control. The charging system includes charging circuitry and magnets. The magnets are configured so that they attract the peripheral device to an engagement surface when it is in a first orientation relative to the engagement surface so that charging circuitry in a peripheral device portion couples with charging circuitry in a charger portion. The magnets are configured so that they also repel and rotate the peripheral device when it is in a second orientation relative to the engagement surface.

  • Patent number: 11144092
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include connection mechanisms for a peripheral computing device to connect with a mobile computing device. The peripheral computing device may include a device interface component that defines part of the connection mechanisms, and an electrical connection protrusion extending from the device interface component and configured to insert in a corresponding electrical receptacle of a computing device. The device interface component may also include a magnetically connectable docking member configured to magnetically attract or to be magnetically attracted to a corresponding docking component on the computing device. The device interface component may further include a support rail configured to support the electrical connection protrusion and the magnetically connectable docking member. The support rail may comprise a shoulder configured to define a pivot point to guide connecting the peripheral computing device with the computing device.

  • Patent number: 10948999
Abstract: The metal and plastic composite keyboards disclosed herein each include a two-part top bezel, which in turn includes a metallic first top bezel and a plastic second top bezel. The metallic first top bezel and a plastic second top bezel are attached to one another at respective overlapping regions and the two-part top bezel is attached to a bottom bezel to form a metal and plastic composite keyboard. The plastic second top bezel may include an electromagnetic window that reduces or eliminates interference on one or more antennas within a hingedly connected display, when the display is pivoted against the keyboard.

  • Publication number: 20200254800
Abstract: An example printable structure comprises a first fabric layer that includes a first side that is printable with water-based ink. The first fabric layer is permissive to migration of the water based ink through the first fabric layer. A first adhesive layer is bonded to a second side of the first fabric layer. An ink migration barrier is bonded to the first adhesive layer opposite the first fabric layer, a second adhesive layer is bonded to the ink migration barrier opposite the first adhesive layer, and a second fabric layer is bonded to the second adhesive layer opposite the ink migration barrier. The second fabric layer is permissive to migration of the water-based ink through the second fabric layer. The ink migration barrier is configured to provide resistance to ink bleed from the first fabric layer to the second fabric layer.

  • Publication number: 20060051974
Abstract: A mask 12 includes half-tone layer 16 and light blocking layer 20. The half-tone layer 16 is of silicon rich silicon nitride SiNx:H. x may be in the range 0 to 1, preferably 0.2 to 0.6, so that the optical band gap can be in the range 2.1 eV to 2.5 eV. It has been discovered that photoresist removal when the mask 12 is used is very dependent on the band gap, and not too dependent on the thickness, so good control of TFT manufacture can be obtained.
