  • Publication number: 20220243371
Abstract: A device including a tape configured to be “woven” into a textile piece (i.e., crochet or knitting projects) and at least one set of row-counting indicia having a plurality of numbers arranged on a front surface and a rear surface of the tape. When the tape is woven into the crochet or knitting projects, a number is shown above every stitch row, clearly indicating the number of each stitch row. The device remains in place during use which allows a user to easily count and keep track of their stitch rows when knitting or crocheting. Once completed, the user may easily slide the device from the textile piece without damaging the device or the project. The device ensures accuracy and is especially helpful in circumstances where the user does not complete the project in one sitting.

  • Publication number: 20170346932
Abstract: In one embodiment, a side source device receives an original packet on a transmission control protocol (TCP) connection from an original source device to an original destination device, the original packet having original data and one or more forwarding properties specific to the original packet, and forwards the original packet from the side source device on a path toward the original destination device. The side source device also generates a side packet with side data different from the original data, the side packet having the same one or more forwarding properties specific to the original packet, and forwards the side packet on the path toward the original destination device, the side packet intended for reception and processing of the side data by a side destination device that is on the path toward the original destination device. In another embodiment, the side destination device receives, processes, and drops the side packet.

  • Publication number: 20020147850
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for knowledge and information sharing. Disclosed embodiments include a central electronic information network and a plurality of portable client devices for use by mobile personnel in the field. The electronic information network has a central database that contains data objects in the form of logic trees representing the cumulative knowledge and information regarding a plurality of situations that are expected to be encountered by the mobile personnel while in the field. These logic trees represent diagnosing algorithms, survey questions, and/or troubleshooting instructions that can be given to help field personnel recognize appropriate question sets to use in a particular situation and how to ask those questions in a logical manner. To provide access to the logic trees whenever necessary, logic tree data objects are also stored electronically on each of the portable client devices.
