  • Publication number: 20240076664
Abstract: The present invention relates to RNAi agents, e.g., double stranded RNAi agents, targeting the Kallikrein B, Plasma (Fletcher Factor) 1 (KLKB1) gene, the Factor XII (Hageman Factor (F12) gene, or the Kininogen 1 (KNG1) gene, and methods of using such RNAi agents to inhibit expression of a KLKB1 gene, an F12 gene, and/or a KNG1 gene, and methods of treating subjects having an hereditary angioedema (HAE) and/or a contact activation pathway-associated disorder.

  • Patent number: 10551284
Abstract: An apparatus includes a sampling probe having a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is configured to penetrate inside a wall of a duct having an inner chamber that is configured to carry a gas stream containing particulate matter therethrough. The first portion is further configured to divert a sample of the gas stream from the inner chamber of the duet to the second portion that extends from the wall of the duct opposite the inner chamber. The second portion of the sampling probe is configured to direct the sample of the gas stream in a first direction with a second direction corresponding to a direction of the gravitational force of the earth. A first ray corresponding to the first direction forms an angle ? with a second ray corresponding to the second direction. The angle ? is less than 90 degrees.

  • Patent number: 9442058
Abstract: A method validating a particulate monitoring device includes generating a final gas stream having a particulate material concentration that corresponds to a target particulate material concentration, using the particulate monitoring device to measure the particulate material concentration in the final gas stream, and evaluating an accuracy of the particulate monitoring device based on a comparison of the particulate concentration in the final gas stream that was measured by the particulate monitoring device with the target particulate material concentration.

  • Patent number: 9054632
Abstract: Characteristics of partially assembled photovoltaic modules can be determined using electrical connection apparatuses and methods. By providing deformable electrical contacts against a partially assembled module on an assembly line, an electrical bias can be applied to the module before the module is completely assembled. An electrical connection apparatus for a photovoltaic module may include a first contact configured to engage a first lead on the photovoltaic module, a second contact configured to engage a second lead on the photovoltaic module, and an electrical power source configured to apply an electrical bias between the first contact and the second contact.

  • Publication number: 20060108583
Abstract: A system for removing film from a planar substrate includes a shuttle which transports a film-coated substrate through a film removal station to a rotation station. At the rotation station, the substrate is removed from the shuttle and rotated to a new orientation. After being repositioned on the shuttle, the substrate is transported by the shuttle through a second film removal station.
