  • Patent number: 11918745
Abstract: Medical tubes and methods of manufacturing medical tubes are disclosed, such as in positive airway pressure (PAP), respirator, anaesthesia, ventilator, and insufflation systems. The tube may be a composite structure made of two or more distinct components spirally wound to form an elongate tube. One of the components may be a spirally wound elongate hollow body, and the other component an elongate structural component spirally wound between turns of the spirally wound hollow body. Alternatively, the tube need not be made from distinct components. For instance, an elongate hollow body formed (e.g., extruded) from a single material may be spirally wound to form an elongate tube. The elongate hollow body itself may in transverse cross-section have a thin wall portion and a relatively thicker or more rigid reinforcement portion. The tubes can be incorporated into a variety of medical circuits or have other medical uses.

  • Patent number: 11851813
Abstract: Floor coverings, such as modular panels or tiles, for installation on interior surfaces include one or more layers, for example, an upper wear layer and a backing layer, where at least one layer includes a filler that includes a carbon negative material, such as concentrated carbon. The carbon negative material can sequester carbon such that the resulting floor covering has a negative carbon footprint when subjected to a Life Cycle Assessment.

  • Publication number: 20220373693
Abstract: A remote controlled system for precision tracking of irrigation equipment with GPS and ultra-wideband communication protocol is designed to track irrigation equipment, including a solenoid valve, through use of a global positioning system (GPS), and an Ultra-Wideband (UWB) communication protocol with a remote control device. The system provides a remote control device to track the location of the solenoid valve, or other irrigation equipment. The GPS tracks the approximate location of the solenoid valve, and the UWB communication protocol provides a more precise tracking capability, locating the exact location of solenoid valves, both underground, and above ground. The remote control device and an agricultural clock, are both in signal communication with the GPS and Ultra-Wideband communication protocols. Further, the agricultural clock utilizes a mesh network, i.e.

  • Publication number: 20220334545
Abstract: A wireless irrigation clock system that operates through a mesh network is configured to program functions that control one or more irrigation controls across multiple agricultural zones. The functions are transmitted over the mesh network as a command signal to corresponding irrigation controls. The clock can, for example, be programmed to generate command signals that control the timing and amount of water discharged through solenoid valves. Multiple relay signal repeaters transmit the command signal through the mesh network to appropriate irrigation controls. The relay signal repeaters are arranged to overcome long distances and barriers. The command signal can include instructions to program the time and amount of water discharged through a pump or a booster pump; or the open and closed position of a solenoid valve. A switch operatively connects to the clock to receive the valve command signals to control the irrigation controls, in correspondence to the command signals.

  • Publication number: 20220322622
Abstract: An irrigation solenoid valve switch assembly is operable on a mesh network. The assembly uses a mesh network to transmit valve command signals that control the timing and amount of water discharged through a solenoid valve in multiple agricultural zones. A solenoid valve regulates the flow of water. A clock, or agricultural controller, generates valve command signals that control the timing and amount of water discharged through the solenoid valve. A hub controller operatively connects to the clock. The hub controller transmits the valve command signals over the mesh network. A switch operatively connects to the solenoid valve. The switch receives the valve command signals to control the solenoid valve, in correspondence to the valve command signals. The switch has a rechargeable battery that feeds direct current to the switch for operation of the solenoid valve. Multiple relay signal repeaters carry the valve command signals across the mesh network.

  • Publication number: 20220295250
Abstract: A system and method for paging and monitoring a server in a service establishment. Multiple customer transmitter devices position on tables, and responds to tactile engagement from customers. Tapping, for example, initiates transmission of customer paging signals to a wearable receiver device worn by a server. The customer transmitter device has an elegant design and is easy to operate for technically challenged customers. Further, a service transmission device in a service area of the establishment enables staff to page the server in the same manner. The wearable receiver device includes an OLED display screen that displays the paging signals in sequential order of receiving them. A Z-wave network ties the communication devices together in the service establishment. A processor communicates with a position tracker and a timer integrated in the wearable receiver. The processor calculates time and location of the server in relation to customers, generating a corresponding server report.
