  • Patent number: 11940495
Abstract: An electronic assembly has a host wafer having a first circuit including wafer transistors and passive, non-transistor devices. Chiplets have a second circuit including at least one radio frequency (RF) transistor device. Electrical interconnects are between the chiplets and wafer. The electrical interconnects electrically connect the first circuit to the second circuits. Oscillators that have the wafer transistor, the RF transistor and the electrical interconnects produce a signal for built-in self-test circuits for testing an assembly design of the electronic assembly and speeds of the RF chiplet transistors.

  • Publication number: 20220411099
Abstract: A cover for an opening on the exterior of an aircraft that contains a fire-resistant, high-temperature tolerant foam encased in a cover made of an aramid fabric. The cover is friction-fitted to the interior of the orifice. The cover can contain one or more durable rings embedded in the fire-resistant, high-temperature tolerant foam meant to protrude outward from the rest of the cover of the body to contact an interior of the orifice into which they are inserted holding the cover in place with friction instead of fasteners.

  • Patent number: 11431829
Abstract: A system adaptably directs packet flows to packet processing elements based on OSI layer characteristics and, when necessary, inspection of data payloads. Characteristics of parsed data flows are identified. A comparison ensues. Upon recognition of a match, the entirety of the packet flow is directed to a linked packet processing element. When a match does not occur, the packet flow is directed to a second analysis tier whereby data payloads of the flow are examined. Characteristics from the data payload analysis are compared to entries in a database. Upon a match being recognized the matching packet flow is directed to the packet processing element. Features of packet flow having undergone data payload analysis are captured and used to update the database of prior associations so that any subsequent receipt of similar packet flows will be forwarded to the linked packet processing element without having to conduct a data payload analysis.

  • Publication number: 20220208021
Abstract: The suppression of the gag reflex response, administered through a training device and associated desensitization method(s), without medical intervention, is desirable for many people who suffer from gag reflex response issues. An oral acclimation training device comprise various thickness(es) and length(s) and may have components to prevent swallowing or choking of the device by the user. Further, the device may be part of a kit having multiple training objects with specific attributes (e.g. thickness, depth, shape, finish, texture) that are designed for a specific stage in the training sequence and tailored for the user's inherent gag reflex sensitivity. Training objects are designed to provide optimal stimulus range to cause desensitization but not cause severe gagging or vomiting. The gag suppression stemming from this device is long-term, meaning that it may last for many weeks or months, depending on the individual.

  • Patent number: 11283496
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, a computer program product, and a system include a processor(s) that produces a set of beamforming vectors, each vector produced based on a distinct set of parameters. To produce vector of the vectors, the processor(s) obtains, from receive antennas, data comprising a waveform comprising slots with boundaries, from a first collection window. The processor(s) determines the parameters (e.g., silent portion length and signal portion length) and determines which slots of the waveform contain signal operating instructions. The processor(s) aligns the slot boundaries, utilizing the data, based on determining which slots of the waveform contain signal operating instructions. The processor(s) extracts the signal portion and the silent portion, determines a covariance for each, and determines a vector and eigenvalue.

  • Patent number: 10876729
Abstract: An apparatus that regulates the size and intensity of a torch flame by controlling the release of oxygen and a fuel, such as propane. The apparatus releases oxygen and fuel by pivoting a flame control plate that opens and closes mini ball valves using a mini ball connecting bracket. The further forward the plate is pivoted, the more open the valves become increasing the size and intensity of the torch flame. Slotted holes at different angles on the mini ball valve connecting bracket cause the apparatus to release oxygen first resulting in a quiet flame ignition and to release oxygen last to blow out the last flow of fuel, resulting in a safe operation.

  • Patent number: 10378920
Abstract: A method and apparatus for displaying an image to an aircraft pilot (20). The method comprises: displaying, by a display (24), to the pilot (20), an image comprising guidance symbology (34) for use by the pilot (20) when landing the aircraft (2), the position of the guidance symbology (34) on the display (24) being dependent upon an output of an INS of the aircraft (2); providing, to a processor (26), an indication that the INS output is incorrect; determining, by the processor (26), a further value for the INS output and a specification of further guidance symbology (40); and displaying, by the display (24), to the pilot (20), an image comprising the further guidance symbology (40). The position on the display (24) of the further guidance symbology (40) relative to that of the guidance symbology (34) is dependent upon the difference between the further value and the incorrect INS output.

  • Patent number: 10088848
Abstract: A method for displaying an image to a pilot (20) of an aircraft (2). The method comprises, using a first value of the velocity of the aircraft (2) relative to a runway (4), displaying, on a HMD (24), an indication of a first position for an image component (e.g. a FPM) (36), the first position being the position, from the pilot's point of view, that the image component (36) would occupy if the aircraft (2) was established on a predefined glideslope (16); using a second value different to the first value, displaying, on the HMD (24), an indication of a second position for the image component (36), the second position being the position, from the pilot's point of view, that the image component (36) would occupy if the aircraft (2) was established on a different glideslope.
