  • Patent number: 10188408
Abstract: This preparation set comprises a drill guide (31) comprising a bearing surface (33) intended to bear against a glenoid cavity, a passage orifice (35) intended for the passage of a guide pin (36) implanted in the glenoid cavity, and first and second guide orifices (37, 38) each opening into the bearing surface (33) and each intended to guide a drill bit (38) capable of realizing a bone bore in the glenoid cavity, the first and second guide orifices (37, 38) being inclined with respect to the extension axis of the passage orifice (35) and converging in the direction of the bearing surface (33); and a compactor (42) comprising a compaction portion (45) having a generally trapezoidal shape and intended to be impacted against the glenoid cavity so as to form a bone housing in the glenoid cavity, the compactor (42) further including a passage hole (49) extending at least partially in the compaction portion (45) and intended for the passage of the guide pin (36) implanted in the glenoid cavity.

  • Publication number: 20100125533
Abstract: A computer system is operated to allow an existing investor to keep an investment in an alternative investment fund, even though the existing investor lacks the funds to pay for the unfunded capital commitments by transferring a percentage of the obligation to fund future commitment to a prospective investor. An agreement maintains privity of contract between the existing investor and the investment vehicle (a Separate Account) comprised of a fund investment manager and an investor and is managed by a fund manager for the prospective investor. The computer system operates to execute the terms of the contract such that the existing investor receives distributions from investments in the underlying alternative investment fund after payment of amounts due to the Separate Account in preference to the existing investor.

  • Publication number: 20060241047
Abstract: This invention relates to FSH or a FSH variant containing an alpha and beta subunit contained in formulations, and articles of manufacture. The invention provides advantageous new proteins and nucleic acids, multi-use pharmaceutical solutions, formulations and products of said proteins and nucleic acids where none approved for commercial use had previously existed having such extended use indications. These products are particularly useful in therapeutic regimens for increasing serum levels of FSH or a FSH variant over a period of treatment. Thus, inter alia, the invention fills the need for convenient products of FSH or from a FSH variant.

  • Publication number: 20060073757
Abstract: A process for anodically bonding an array of spacer columns to one of the inner major faces on one of the generally planar plates of an evacuated, flat panel video display. The process includes using a generally planar plate having a plurality of spacer column attachment sites; providing electrical interconnection between all attachment sites; coating each attachment site with a patch of oxidizable material; providing an array of unattached permanent glass spacer columns, each unattached permanent spacer column being of uniform length and being positioned longitudinally perpendicular to a single plane, with the plane intersecting the midpoint of each unattached spacer column; positioning the array such that an end of one permanent spacer column is in contact with the oxidizable material patch at each attachment site; and anodically bonding the contacting end of each permanent spacer column to the oxidizable material layer.

  • Publication number: 20060023860
Abstract: A method of detecting misrouted inter-office transport facility routes in a telecommunications system is disclosed. The method includes receiving a plurality of provisioning orders corresponding to a plurality of newly requested inter-office facility routes to be added to the telecommunications system, and comparing the plurality of newly requested inter-office facility routes to a plurality of preferred routes that have been stored in a preferred routes database to identify a first set of routes that match the preferred routes, a second set of misrouted routes where a preferred route has been defined and previously stored, but where the newly requested route does not match the preferred route, and a third set of unmatched routes where a preferred route has not been previously stored in the preferred routes database.
