  • Patent number: 12312490
Abstract: The invention relates to the synthesis of a carboxyl-functional, unsaturated polyurethane containing a perfluoropolyether block, which can be used as an easy clean additive in preparation of a waterborne, UV curable coating composition. The polyurethane can be prepared by a method comprising the following steps: a) subjecting a hydroxy-terminated perfluoropolyether A to a reaction with a molar excess of polyisocyanate B to obtain an isocyanate-functional urethane C, b) adding a carboxyl-functional polyol D to the reaction mixture, c) adding OH— functional (meth)acrylate monomer E to the reaction mixture, wherein steps (b) and (c) can be performed in any order, and d) neutralizing the reaction product with a neutralizer F. The resulting coating has easy clean and anti-stain properties.

  • Publication number: 20250120610
Abstract: Examples provide a system and method for continuous respiratory rate monitoring with greater accuracy and reliability. Sensor data is obtained from a wearable sensor device simultaneously generating both multi-wavelength photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor data as well as inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensor data, such as respiratory body movement data generated by an accelerometer and/or a gyroscope. The system performs signal processing and filtering on the sensor data using a set of rules and threshold(s) to remove Mayer-wave in-band noise, transients, and motion artifacts. PPG-based respiratory rate estimates are generated and combined into a single PPG-based respiratory rate estimate based on the PPG sensor data. IMU-based respiratory rate estimates are generated and combined in parallel using the IMU sensor data to generate a single IMU-based respiratory rate estimate.

  • Publication number: 20240309325
Abstract: This patent proves that enucleated red blood cells are the product of biological evolution and disabled red blood cells due to functional defects. Platelets are the nuclei removed during the enucleation of nucleated red blood cells. They are useful components for blood coagulation and hemostasis, but not essential components. Nucleated erythrocytes are fully functional erythrocytes. The preparation of nucleated red blood cell blood, especially the universal blood without blood type, not only has all the functions of red blood cells, but also can be replicated in the blood, improving the physiological performance of blood and reducing the cost and time of artificial blood.

  • Patent number: 11993842
Abstract: Embodiments described and discussed herein provide methods for selectively depositing a metal oxides on a substrate. In one or more embodiments, methods for forming a metal oxide material includes positioning a substrate within a processing chamber, where the substrate has passivated and non-passivated surfaces, exposing the substrate to a first metal alkoxide precursor to selectively deposit a first metal oxide layer on or over the non-passivated surface, and exposing the substrate to a second metal alkoxide precursor to selectively deposit a second metal oxide layer on the first metal oxide layer. The method also includes sequentially repeating exposing the substrate to the first and second metal alkoxide precursors to produce a laminate film containing alternating layers of the first and second metal oxide layers. Each of the first and second metal alkoxide precursors contains a different metal selected from titanium, zirconium, hafnium, aluminum, or lanthanum.

  • Patent number: 10819260
Abstract: An apparatus for an alpha trim adjustment includes a phase delay circuit that creates a phase delay for a gate signal for a switching cycle. The gate signal is for a phase of a three-phase, phase shifted alternating current (“AC”) input of a multi-pulse motor drive powering a direct current (“DC”) motor. The apparatus includes an alpha trim circuit that modifies the phase delay with an alpha trim adjustment to create an adjusted phase delay for the switching cycle, a delay application circuit that applies the adjusted phase delay to the gate signal.
