  • Publication number: 20250143961
Abstract: Systems and processes for determining pressure settings for a percussive massage applicator are described. According to one embodiment, a method comprises obtaining an operational current measurement of the motor when the motor has a load. difference value is determined between the current measurement and the operational current measurement. The difference value is compared to two or more predetermined ranges of values that correspond to a pressure level of the percussive applicator. The pressure level may be provided as feedback to the user.

  • Publication number: 20220051780
Abstract: A method for operating a compressive recovery device. The method including receiving activity data of a user, providing a recommended recovery activity based on the activity data, wherein a primary goal of the recovery activity is to facilitate physiological recovery of the user, and controlling a compressive recovery device to perform the recovery activity on the user.

  • Publication number: 20220023141
Abstract: A printed circuit board (PCB) configured to be included in a massage applicator. The PCB including a clock module configured to provide at least one clock signal, a controller configured to receive the at least one clock signal from the clock module and control a motor of the massage applicator to provide a plurality of vibration levels, and an optical sensor configured to capture a rotation of a swivel dial indicating a desired vibration level of the plurality of vibration levels.

  • Publication number: 20210330546
Abstract: Systems and processes for recommending a recovery routine are described. In various embodiments, an online or mobile application can receive activity data from a user and provide recommended recovery routines based thereon. The activity data can be received from a wearable activity tracker device and/or a smart fitness machine. The application can recommend that the recovery activity be performed using a smart recovery device (e.g., a percussive massage device). In certain instances, data from the recovery activity can also be communicated to the application and compared against an optimal recovery routine.
