Abstract: A nether garment for adsorbing odor to be worn close to at least one body part of a user having at least one outer fabric material layer and an inner layer of fiber fabric material for adsorbing odor, such that the nether garment conforms to a shape of the at least one body part of the user thereby providing one or more of a lightweight, flexible, breathable, washable, regenerative and reusable apparatus. Also described is a method of making an odor control nether garment and an improved method of controlling odors, including various body odors.

Abstract: An apparatus for adsorbing flatulence and genitalia odor to be worn close to the body of a user, having a pad with a first elongated end and a second enlarged end, the ends conforming to the shape of the body of the user, a first layer of activated carbon fiber fabric interior of the pad and a second layer of fiber fabric joined to the first layer of activated carbon fiber fabric at its perimeter. Preferably, the activated carbon fiber fabric is about 100% activated carbon which is regenerative by heat. The second layer of fiber fabric is preferably a permeable material. If desired, the pad can be attached to the underwear/undergarment of the user by, for example, two or more eyelets and self-adhesive tie down strips. Preferably, the pad is also flexible, lightweight, washable, reusable, and reversible. A method of manufacturing an apparatus for adsorbing flatulence and genitalia odors as well as a method for adsorbing such odors are also described.

Abstract: The present invention 100 discloses a flatulence filter seat cushion for absorbing odor and providing sound attenuation from an anal discharge of a seated individual. The flatulence filter seat cushion is primarily comprised of an exterior cotton fabric casing with an unlimited design 101, 102 sewn together along perimeter sides with a predetermined pore opening to aid in flatus diffusion; a predetermined, replaceable sound dampening/air diffusing and/or odor removal element 105 and a replaceable odor removal element 106. The said replaceable filter elements are inserted through a zippered opening 103 in the bottom of an exterior shell 102. A hook and loop fastener 104 is applied on both sides 102 to retain the flatulence filter seat cushion in position while one is seated. A predetermined material of polyurethane foam construction 105 may be impregnated with a blend of activated carbon for additional odor removal.
