  • Patent number: 4110294
Abstract: This invention provides a means for aiding in the processing of polyimide or polyamide-imide resins containing olefinic unsaturated end groups by use of unsaturated imide or their corresponding amide acid compounds which act as a flux for the resin. These fluxing compounds enhance the flow of these resins during processing and also facilitates the removal of volatiles thereby permitting the preparation of dense, low void content objects of high mechanical strength.
