  • Patent number: 11514795
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for projecting virtual parking lines in alignment with actual parking lines to facilitate parking within a parking stall defined by the actual parking lines to prevent unnecessary damage to vehicles in an area where the actual parking lines may not exist or be visible. The system identifies the location of the actual parking lines within a defined parking area based on previously recorded actual parking line data as well as localization of the vehicle within the defined parking area relative to the nearby landmarks. Virtual parking lines are generated that correspond with the location of the actual parking lines and are projected in alignment with the actual parking lines to facilitate parking.

  • Patent number: 11358603
Abstract: A system for a vehicle includes a memory configured to store modeling parameters, generated using an algorithm that assigns relevance scores to features, that specify information indicative of how configuration data including information indicative of use of features of the vehicle classifies which user is currently using the vehicle. The system also includes a processor programmed to monitor the vehicle for the configuration data, identify a most likely user profile using the modeling parameters according to the configuration data, and apply settings of the user profile to the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11209282
Abstract: A vehicle includes a camera configured to capture an image; and a controller programmed to analyze quality of the image to calculate a lens cleanliness, responsive to detect the lens cleanliness being below a predefined threshold, identify a carwash station within a predefined distance from a navigation route, indicate the carwash station to a vehicle user, and responsive to receiving user input selecting the carwash station, set the carwash station as a navigation destination.

  • Publication number: 20210217311
Abstract: Crowdsourced navigation systems and methods are provided herein. An example method includes receiving a selected destination location of a trip request input into a navigation system of a vehicle and suggesting a different final destination location rather than the selected destination location. The different final destination location can be selected based on commonality between final destination locations of additional trip requests of other vehicles that specified the selected destination location.

  • Patent number: 10829068
Abstract: A system includes a processor configured to receive a set of vehicle-specific, user-specified vehicle physical system settings for a first vehicle. The processor is also configured to use a known first vehicle physical configuration to convert the system settings into user-centric settings, representing at least spacing between physical components achieved in the first vehicle by the user-specified settings. The processor is further configured to save the converted user-centric settings with respect to a user profile.
