  • Patent number: 11946531
Abstract: An electric drive module that includes an electric motor, a differential assembly, and a transmission that transmits rotary power between the electric motor and the differential assembly. The transmission has first and second reductions. The first reduction has a drive gear, which is rotatable about a first axis, and a pair of first reduction gears that are each meshingly engaged to the drive gear rotatable about a respective second axis. The second axes are spaced apart from one another and are parallel to the first axis. The second reduction has a driven gear and a pair of second reduction gears. The driven gear is rotatable about a third axis that is parallel to the first axis. Each of the second reduction gears is being meshingly engaged to the driven gear and non-rotatably coupled to an associated one of the first reduction gears.

  • Publication number: 20240087997
Abstract: An electric drive unit having a stator body, a plurality of sets of field windings mounted to the stator body, a rotor received in the stator body and rotatable relative to the stator body, a plurality of phase terminals, and a current sensor assembly. Each of the phase terminals is coupled to an associated one of the sets of field windings. The current sensor assembly has a plurality of current sensor laminations, and a sensor. The current sensor laminations are generally C-shaped and are abutted against one another to form a sensor lamination stack. The sensor lamination stack defines a gap. The current sensor laminations are disposed about a corresponding one of the phase terminals. The sensor is disposed in the gap.

  • Patent number: 9783433
Abstract: Water treatment and valve control systems and apparatuses, and methods of using the same, are disclosed. In some examples, the apparatuses, systems, and methods include use of a rotary position sensor and one or more rotatable elements configured to, when moving from an initial rotational position to subsequent rotational positions, move one or more element of a valve assembly. In various examples of the apparatuses, systems, and methods, the rotatable element rotates directly from one rotational position to another rotational position. In certain examples, the rotary position sensor measures an electrical resistance value to detect the rotational position of the rotatable element.

  • Publication number: 20160052798
Abstract: Liquid treatment systems (e.g., water treatment systems) with enhanced components and systems are disclosed. For example, the water treatment system may be enhanced by incorporating a location determination component and one or more measurement components (e.g., to measure temperature, flow, pH, composition, etc.). A data store of location information may be created comprising current and/or historical location of the water treatment system. Using transmission capabilities, the water treatment system may transmit collected data to a remote server for, inter alia, storage, aggregation, filtering, and/or analysis. Collectively, the aggregate data from a plurality of networked water treatment systems may form a repository of information that offers synergistic benefits that improve numerous aspects of water treatment systems and the related systems and users to which those water treatment systems provide service.

  • Patent number: 5466407
Abstract: Residue produced by incineration of commercial, industrial or municipal waste is treated to remove oversize material and ferrous materials. The moisture content of the untreated residue is adjusted, and the residue is mixed with Portland cement to partially aggregate the residue into a free-flowing, granular material containing no more than about five percent by weight fines and having a hydraulic conductivity of at least about 0.001 cm/sec after curing for 24 hours. The treated residue can be used to form a gas-venting layer for a landfill, and retains its good hydraulic conductivity as it cures into a cohesive mass, such that leaching of hazardous materials is reduced.
