  • Patent number: 12036123
Abstract: An implant device and method is provided. The implant may be a generally spherical, hollow body having one or more layers configured to be implanted within a scrotum and a cavity sized to receive a testis. Net sheeting provides structural rigidity to the implant and facilitates suturing of the implant to the patient. The cavity has a cavity configured to permit access to the cavity. Implantation involves administering one or more anesthetic agents to a patient having at least one testis and a scrotum; cutting an at least 1.5-inch longitudinal incision in the scrotum to expose the tunica vaginalis; cutting an at least 1.5-inch longitudinal incision in the tunica vaginalis; providing the testicular implant placing the testicular implant over the at least one testis; closing the at least 1.5-inch longitudinal incision in the tunica vaginalis; connecting the testicular implant to the tunica vaginalis; and closing the scrotum.

  • Publication number: 20220249233
Abstract: A testicular implant device and method is provided. The testicular implant device comprises a generally spherical, hollow body configured to be implanted within a scrotum and a cavity sized to receive a testis. The spherical, hollow body has one or more layers of net sheeting, which provides structural rigidity to the implant and facilitates suturing of the implant to the patient. The cavity also has a cavity edge, which defines a means of ingress into the cavity. The method comprises the steps of administering one or more anesthetic agents to a patient having at least one testis and a scrotum; cutting an at least 1.5-inch longitudinal incision in the scrotum to expose the tunica vaginalis; cutting an at least 1.5-inch longitudinal incision in the tunica vaginalis; providing a testicular implant having a generally spherical, hollow body and one or more layers of net sheeting; placing the testicular implant over the at least one testis; closing the at least 1.

  • Publication number: 20210361433
Abstract: A genital implant enhancement device and method is provided. The genital implant device comprises an elongated cylindrical sleeve that is configured to encircle a shaft of a penis and an external layer configured to cover one or more edges, surfaces, or layers of the sleeve to form one or more covered edges, surfaces, or layers themselves configured to align with the penis. One or more of the cylindrical sleeve and external layers may define one or more functional layers configured operative to be antibiotic and/or antimicrobial, anti-adhesive, slick and/or lubricious, anti-inflammatory, and/or fluid reducing. The device and method may be adapted for other sexual organs such as a clitoris, scrotum, testicles, and vaginal labia.

  • Publication number: 20210361432
Abstract: A penile implant enhancement device and method is provided. The penile implant device comprises an elongated cylindrical sleeve that is configured to encircle a shaft of a penis and an external layer. The elongated cylindrical sleeve is defined by one or more edges, surfaces, or layers, including a proximal edge, a distal edge, a first side, a second side, a top surface, and a bottom surface, and the external layer is configured to cover the one or more edges, surfaces, or layers of the sleeve to form one or more covered edges, surfaces, or layers. The covered edges, surfaces, or layers are configured to align with the penis.

  • Patent number: 9504573
Abstract: A subcutaneous prosthesis for a penis provides two sides of an elongated cylinder, the sides hinged along a top longitudinal edges of the sides. One end of the prosthesis has a gauze sheath providing a means to secure the prosthesis from moving relative to the corpora cavernosa around which it is placed. When the penis is erect it grows in girth thereby causing the two sides of the cylindrical prosthesis to spread divergently and forcing a press-rib against the deep dorsal vein of the penis, thereby restricting blood flow.

  • Publication number: 20100137721
Abstract: An ultrasound scanning system and methods of using the same. In one preferred form, an ultrasound scanning system comprises an acoustic imaging catheter comprising an ultrasonic transducer, a motion control system and an imaging computer system for imaging a patient's genitourinary system. In another preferred form, an ultrasound scanning system is used for imaging a patient's prostate gland.

  • Patent number: 5669870
Abstract: An implant device improves the appearance of a penis that is misshapen, damaged or otherwise lacking in a natural anatomical appearance. A bellows like body being lengthwise expandable and generally flexible, is implanted between the penis shaft and the skin of the human penis. In the preferred embodiment, the body takes the shape of a double walled partial cylindrical sleeve, the walls having a bellows-like construction. A soft sponge material is positioned within the sleeve between the sleeve walls. When implanted, the body covers the shaft of the penis and extends in length between the glans penis and the base of the penis. One or more principally closed sacks is/are formed so that the device may receive a fluid from a fluid pressurization source. The present invention is well suited for patients that can achieve a natural erection, yet suffer from a penile malformity.

  • Patent number: 5662709
Abstract: An implant device is disclosed for expanding the girth of, and improving the appearance of a testis. A pair of soft, flexible bodies are implanted within the scrotum and joined to the testes. Each of the bodies and the testis to which it is attached, take the shape of a sphere. When implanted, the body covers a portion of the testis not including the testicular cord.

  • Patent number: 5445594
Abstract: An implant device is disclosed for expanding the girth and length of a penis. A soft, flexible body is implanted between the shaft and the skin of the penis. The body takes the shape of a partial cylindrical sleeve that has an outer, relatively elastic sheet member and an inner, relatively inelastic sheet member. When implanted, the body covers the corpus cavernosum of the penis and does not or only partially covers the urethra, and extends in length between the glans penis and the base of the penis. A principally closed sack is formed between the inner and outer sheet members for receiving a fluid under pressure from a fluid source. Spring-like ribs are embedded within the inner sheet member for preventing collapse of the inner sheet member when the body is deflated.
