  • Patent number: 9779902
Abstract: A modular intelligent electronic overload device that requires only a single configuration file to describe the device with all of the available options. Furthermore, the modular intelligent electronic overload device contains embedded application files that provide commonly used control algorithms into the non-volatile memory of the modular intelligent electronic overload device that can be accessed by a user to configure the device without the need for a personal computer. Finally, the modular intelligent electronic overload device configuration parameters can be stored to virtual non-volatile memory contained in an associated user interface device, allowing for easy replacement of the modular intelligent electronic overload device.

  • Publication number: 20150135016
Abstract: Methods and systems for communicating information from a first modular electronic device to a second modular electronic device. The first modular electronic device transmitting a first serial data frame over a two-wire communication protocol. The first serial data frame containing status information, a heartbeat challenge and a frame check character. The second modular electronic device able to receive the first serial data frame, validate the data and display status information on a local human interface. The second electronic device able to respond to the first electronic device by transmitting a second serial data frame. The second serial data frame containing a heartbeat response and a frame check character response. The first modular electronic device having the ability to place a modular electronic overload system in a safe state if communication is lost between the first modular electronic device and the second modular electronic device.

  • Patent number: 7780543
Abstract: Embodiments include a golf swing training device primarily formed from a first material having dimensions suitable for wrapping around a shaft of a golf club and a second material coupled to the first material wherein the second material conforms to the dimensions of the first material and adds sufficient weight to the golf club. The training device is removable coupled to the shaft of the golf club. A method including securing a swing training device around a portion of the shaft of the golf club, the training device comprising a length dimension suitable to distribute a weight of the training device about a substantial portion of the length of the shaft and then swinging the golf club.

  • Patent number: 7033282
Abstract: An apparatus including a transverse housing having a length sized to fit between the shoulder blades of a human; and a descending shaft coupled to and bisecting the transverse housing, the descending shaft including a length suitable to extend from the transverse housing to a shaft of a golf club when a human assumes an addressing stance and the transverse housing is engaged the biceps of the human; and a distal end having a dimension suitable to fit within a bleeder hole of a golf club grip. A method including coupling a training device to a shaft of a putter through the bleeder hole, the training device including a transverse housing and a descending shaft coupled to and bisecting the transverse housing; and engaging the transverse housing of the training device between the shoulder blades.

  • Patent number: 6383086
Abstract: A practice golf club putter is provided where the putter head is ball-shaped having a bore in which a shaft is inserted and firmly affixed to form a single unit. The shaft has a single bend closely proximate to the putter head that provides an offset between the longitudinal axis of the shaft and the axis of the bore. This offset provides numerous advantages for both right and left handed golfers. Specifically, a golfer may position the shaft of the practice putter in an off-set relationship with respect to the hitting zone of the putter head so that the club alignment approximates the relationship of the shaft angle with respect to the hitting zone of a USGA-approved putter.
