    Abstract: A powdered, storage stable, effervescent formulation readily dispersible in water and containing a watersoluble chlorinated cyanurate, such as sodium dichloroisocyanurate, is mixed with water to provide a stable, slightly acid to neutral, non-irritating aqueous liquid having about 3,000 to 7,000 ppm titratable chlorine which is used as a teat dip for hygienic control of bovine mastitis.
