  • Patent number: 9451836
Abstract: A merchandising security system includes a support adapted to be secured to a first associated merchandising structure and at least one product barrier movably mounted to the support. The at least one product barrier extends away from the support so as to approach a second associated merchandising structure spaced from the first associated merchandising structure. The product barrier is at least one of slidably mounted in relation to the support and pivotably mounted in relation to the support, wherein the product barrier includes first and second members which cooperate to retard a forward movement of an associated object supported on the first associated merchandising structure. At least one of the first and second members is mounted in relation to the support via a hinge.

  • Publication number: 20150152670
Abstract: A hook lock device for use in connection with an associated loop type display hook to prevent the removal of associated merchandise suspended from the loop hook includes a housing that defines a cavity configured to accommodate a distal end of the display hook. A plunger lock mechanism is attached to the housing. A plug or locking pin is operably connected to the plunger lock mechanism such that the plunger lock mechanism is configured to selectively move the plug between an unlocked condition, wherein the plug is retracted out of the cavity, and a locked condition, wherein the plug is extended at least partially within the cavity such that the housing cannot be removed from the distal end of the associated display hook.

  • Publication number: 20140034591
Abstract: A shelf system includes a support member that accommodates an associated object for display and dispensing. The support member includes a front end and a rear end. A mounting portion is disposed adjacent the support member rear end. The mounting portion includes a first member which connects to an associated upright and a second member which is operatively connected to the support member. A pin is connected to one of the first and second members and a sleeve is connected to the other of the first and second members, wherein the sleeve selectively accommodates the pin. A fastener is provided for selectively securing the pin in the sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20120012607
Abstract: A product dispenser particularly suited for relatively thin products such as packs of gum incorporates a housing with a front wall that pivots downwardly to allow the interior to be stocked with the product. The front wall includes a slot opening and a tray extends through the slot opening to dispense product. The handle of the tray is pulled away from the unit causing the tray to push the lowest most product through the slot pushed by a raised rear portion of the tray. The raised rear portion also prevents the next lowest product from falling on the tray when it is in extended position. The tray is then retracted by a spring, and the next lower product drops on the tray and is ready for dispensing.

  • Patent number: 5287592
Abstract: A vacuum cleaner assembly includes a motor and drive shaft extending therefrom adapted for driving an elastomeric belt which, in turn, is used to rotate a revolving brush supported in a cleaner housing. A composite belt drive member is affixed in axial alignment to an end of the motor shaft and has a relatively rigid member and electrically insulating annular oversheath. The sheath is tapered to provide a nest portion for retaining the belt on the drive member during shaft rotation. The sheath is a plastic material which provides the desired electrical insulation function.
