Abstract: This basketball net fixture is designed to be easily installed and removed from an existing park basketball hoop. Primarily, it consists of a circular main body with a lip having a magnetic strip to retain the main body to the hoop. A skirt of the main body is also provided with cut-out openings around it for receiving and retaining cord portions of a net that depends from the fixture for a basketball to pass through, and a boat hook is employed to elevate, install, and remove the fixture from the hoop.
