    Abstract: A fiber optic cable clamp is provided. The fiber optic cable clamp includes a sheath grip member and a strength member clamp maintained at a constant axial location with respect to the sheath grip member. The fiber optic cable clamp also includes a cable fiber separator connected to the sheath grip member, the cable fiber separator including a plurality of cable fiber openings and attached to the strength member clamp. The fiber optic cable clamp, when mounted to a fiber optic cable, maintains the relative axial locations of a cable sheath and cable strength member along a fiber optic cable.

    Abstract: A network interface device includes a body, a cover, and a cable spool. The front of the body defines a forward interior in which telecommunications components are arranged. An optical adapter extends partially out of the forward interior at an optical coupling location. The cover includes a shroud that extends over the portion of the optical adapter extending out of the forward interior when the cover is closed. Sidewalls extend from the rear of the body to define a rearward pocket. The cable spool can be removably mounted within the rearward pocket. Alternatively, the cable spool can be fixed to the body and the sidewalls can be removed from the body to allow access to the cable spool.

    Abstract: A method for sealing a cable in an enclosure includes assembling a first portion and a second portion of a cable seal around a cable. The first and second portions of the cable seal define a central axial opening having a sealing surface. The cable is disposed in the central axial opening. The method further includes inserting the cable seal and cable through an entrance of a generally u-shaped cable entry point of a side of an enclosure and positioning the cable seal within the cable entry point such that the cable seal protrudes from opposite surfaces of the side. An outer gasket seals between the surfaces of the side of the enclosure and the cable seal.
