  • Patent number: 6354869
Abstract: A connector is fastened to a central portion of a connector bracket adjacent a slot in a slotted bracket to provide a number of electrical circuits extending through the slot. A first end of the connector bracket is fastened to the slotted bracket by means of a screw. The central portion of the connector bracket extends inwardly along the slotted card bracket, adjacent the slot, which the central portion overlaps. An end tab of the card bracket, opposite the first end thereof, extends outwardly along a part of the slotted card bracket, which itself extends from an end of the slot.

  • Patent number: 6188023
Abstract: A cover assembly with a rectangular cover for covering an opening at a predetermined height in a receiving part formed by stamping and bending a sheet of material with the opening formed in the receiving part. The rectangular cover with a first pair of opposite sides and a second pair of opposite sides, with the second pair of opposite sides have been formed to create a side wall of a given height with a tab finger. Two or more Z-shaped side walls of a predetermined height are formed around the opening of the receiving member. The Z-shaped side walls receive the first pair of opposite side of the rectangular cover. A tab opening is formed in the receiving member. The tab opening receives the tab finger of the rectangular cover. The side wall of the rectangular cover formed so that the given height of the side wall is less than the predetermined height of the two Z-shaped side walls so as to enclose a region of the opening of the receiving member with the flange of the rectangular cover therewith.

  • Patent number: 6092926
Abstract: A method for monitoring the operating temperature of a semiconductor device. The method comprising the steps of: placing a thermal coupling material between the bottom of the semiconductor device and the top of a printed circuit board for inserting the device thereinto; inserting a sensor so to be at least partially covered by the thermal coupling material; and measuring the temperature from the sensor within a predetermined time interval. In accordance with another aspect of the invention, an apparatus is described to carry out the above process.

  • Patent number: 5925869
Abstract: A multiple-input, mixed-type bar code processor, comprising: a plurality of retriggerable pulse generators, each having data inputs coupled to sources of potential representing fixed logic levels and each having at least one of a clear and a reset input coupled to a different one of a plurality of sources of input bar code data streams, for regenerating the input bar code data streams responsive to logic level transitions of the input bar code data streams, both when any input bar code data stream is logically low absent scanned data and when any other input bar code data stream is logically high absent the scanned data; a circuit for receiving all of the regenerated bar code data streams and generating a single output bar code data stream; and, a bar code data stream decoder coupled for receiving the single output bar code data stream.

  • Patent number: 5313051
Abstract: A portable paperless parcel tracking system capable of reading bar codes on packages, capturing signatures and alphanumeric data related to the parcels when entered into a touch panel display, disabling manual or finger touch entry when a stylus is near the surface of the display, storing the parcel related data electronically and transmitting the data to a host at a convenient time.
