James Jordan Goldberg has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Patent number: 10010779
Abstract: The invention is an exercise apparatus providing an advanced level of surfboard paddling simulation and muscle development. The design includes a specialized platform, unique hand harnesses, and cable systems with mechanical advantage and mass moment of inertia mechanisms, piston pumps, cable spools, and elastic elements. They allow the user to simulate paddling in an alternating or simultaneous sequence at any speed while strong elastic tension resists the user's thrust strokes, but during paddling return strokes the user feels no elastic tension or resistance. The design also prompts the user to engage and strengthen all dorsal muscles to maintain an appropriately arched body position while paddling.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 9731659
Abstract: The invention provides a vehicle rooftop-mounted cargo container of rigid design that has the capability of sliding forward or rearward in the direction of travel of the vehicle on semi permanent mounting points while remaining attached to the vehicle, and that has the means to selectively keep the container from sliding forward or rearward upon the mounting points, and that also has the capability of being assembled as a container into various lengths using only a few interchangeable component parts.
