  • Patent number: 11947454
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for controlling cache allocations in a configurable combined private and shared cache in a processor-based system. The processor-based system is configured to receive a cache allocation request to allocate a line in a share cache structure, which may further include a client identification (ID). The cache allocation request and the client ID can be compared to a sub-non-uniform memory access (NUMA) (sub-NUMA) bit mask and a client allocation bit mask to generate a cache allocation vector. The sub-NUMA bit mask may have been programmed to indicate that processing cores associated with a sub-NUMA region are available, whereas processing cores associated with other sub-NUMA regions are not available, and the client allocation bit mask may have been programmed to indicate that processing cores are available.

  • Patent number: 10166615
Abstract: A machine including: a table having a surface adapted to have a workpiece lay and move thereon, and a vise for gripping the workpiece. The machine also includes a drive system for moving the vise and workpiece a distance along the table surface, and a sensor assembly connected to the vise for measuring an amount of slip distance occurring between the vise and the workpiece. The machine also includes a control unit connected to the sensor assembly and the drive system for storing the measured slip distance and for operating the drive system and for operating to do at least one of, when a predetermined amount of slip distance is detected: sounding an alarm and stopping further movement of the workpiece, and, when a slip distance is measured, for causing the drive system to move the vise and workpiece an added distance equal to the measured slip distance.

  • Publication number: 20070214924
Abstract: A material puller assembly for use with a sawing machine for pulling material away from the saw cutting area includes horizontal support means for supporting material fed from an in-feed shuttle assembly, through the saw cutting area and toward the puller assembly. The puller assembly uses a first horizontal side support member along which movement of a vertically-disposed support means is provided. The vertically-disposed support means includes means for clamping a piece of material between a vertically-movable upper clamp jaw and a vertically-stationary lower clamp jaw. The vertically-disposed support means and the clamp jaws are horizontally movable along the first side support member. Rotatably suspended between the first and second side support members are a number of support rollers. At least one of the support rollers includes an axial contour matching the contour of the vertically-stationary lower clamp jaw such that the lower clamp jaw can pass over the roller.

  • Publication number: 20060048620
Abstract: A roller table with a vise carriage and movable roller supports for moving, positioning, and supporting material. In the preferred embodiment, a hydraulic cylinder and piston rod are used in conjunction with a rack and pinion system such that there is a doubling effect on the piston rod stroke for effectuating differential positioning of two movable roller supports and the vise carriage. One movable roller support is disposed at approximately the midpoint between the vise carriage and a fixed vise. For a given displacement of the vise carriage, the movable roller support travels half as far so as to remain essentially at the midpoint of the span. The second movable roller support is disposed on the other side of the vise carriage, more or less at the midpoint between the vise carriage and a fixed roller support.
