Abstract: Disclosed are methods for multiplexed protein detection, including, for example, a multiplex immunoassay capable of eliminating or reducing false positives in proximity probe-based assays. The disclosure also provides methods for reducing noise due to probe and oligo cross-reactivity. Additional methods to integrate protein readouts with mulitiomics datasets and related systems and computer-readable media are also provided.

The target body is shaped so that the particles sputtered towards a surface to be modified are generally sputtered from the sputtering target in radially extending sputter directions relative to the beam axis, the sputter directions being one of (i) directions extending towards the beam axis and (ii) directions extending away from the beam axis.

Abstract: An inspection apparatus includes multiple sensors (including a visual sensor and one or more additional sensor(s), such as an optical gas imager and an anemometer), a real-time clock, and an inertial measurement unit, the sensors having central observation axes aligned in parallel, with the sensors and real-time clock (and optionally a location module) configured to generate data points from multiple poses of the inspection apparatus relative to an observed object. A method for operating an inspection apparatus includes obtaining data by sweeping the inspection apparatus across a region in parallel paths and circumscribing the region, time-stamping and/or attributing location coordinates to the data, correcting for positional offset of the sensors, collocating visual sensor data with data from other sensor(s), generating a point cloud and a 3D texture of the visual data, and generating a textured 3D model.

The present invention also relates to methods of using these microbes to increase the presence of beneficial microbes in crops.

Abstract: A polymer masonry unit is disclosed that can include a polymer added to a quarry byproduct to manufacture a quality brick unit. The present disclosure solves the technological problem of providing a structurally sound brick or concrete alternative without the need for kiln firing, using traditionally unusable waste material. By combining quarry byproduct and a polymer, a polymer masonry unit can be fabricated having compressive strength and architectural utility. In one exemplary embodiment, fiber elements can be added to the byproduct and polymer mixture to increase structural stability. The present disclosure improves the performance of the system itself by providing a basic block or brick unit using an environmentally responsible manufacturing process that reduces cost and waste. The manufacturing process includes a polymer/base material that can be poured into molds that cures over a predetermined period, without the need for kiln firing.

Abstract: A process for the preparation of an antimicrobial P-doped coating solution is described. The process for the preparation of the antimicrobial coating solution uses non-volatile and non-oxidising phosphoric acid. The antimicrobial coatings are active in both the UV and visible light spectrum.
