  • Patent number: 10175016
Abstract: A system for displaying a number of rounds in a magazine of a weapon may include a force sensitive resistor shaped to be placed in the magazine and engage a magazine spring therein such that a resistance of the force sensitive resistor changes in response to a spring force from a number of rounds in the magazine, a microcontroller connected to detect the resistance of the force sensitive resistor resulting from the spring force upon the force sensitive resistor in response to the number of rounds in the magazine and output an electrical signal indicative of the resistance; and a display connected to respond to the electrical signal, the display having an indicator that is actuated in response to the signal to indicate the number of rounds in the magazine.

  • Publication number: 20070039878
Abstract: A process and apparatus for increasing biological activity in waste treatment ponds and lagoons. In this process a floating fluid circulator having an annular space between nested frusto-conical surfaces is operated in a pond or lagoon. An aerator within the scope of the floating fluid circulator is provided. That aerator includes an upper float chassis having a frusto-conical configuration, a sectional diverter arranged in a lower portion of the upper float chassis, the sectional aerator having a lower diverter portion and motor driven means mounted on the upper float chassis connected to a rotatable impeller.

  • Publication number: 20060278163
Abstract: A apparatus for depositing one or more thin film layers on one or more continuous web or discrete substrates. The apparatus includes a pay-out unit for dispensing one or a plurality of webs, a deposition unit that deposits a series of one or more thin film layers thereon, and a take-up unit that receives and stores the webs following deposition. In a preferred embodiment, deposition occurs through plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition in which a plasma region is formed between a cathode in the deposition unit and one or more vertically-oriented webs. The instant deposition apparatus includes a support system for guiding and stabilizing the transport of one or more webs or substrates through the deposition chambers. The support system includes a magnetic guidance assembly and an edge-stabilizing assembly that operate to inhibit perturbations of the motion of a web or substrate in directions other than the direction of transport through the apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20050284960
Abstract: A multi-barreled sprayer for applying a diluted product such as a diluted cleaning solution to a surface for cleaning thereof and rinsing the diluted product from the surface by spraying a water-only rinse onto the surface from the sprayer. The sprayer can include a flow meter therein for providing a desired product dilution ratio. To provide different spray patterns for the water rinse or diluted product, the sprayer can include a shroud having shaped exit holes. The sprayer includes separate flow paths for the water-only rinse and the diluted product. The flow path for the diluted product includes a mixing chamber in which concentrated tablet product is diluted and mixed with water supplied by a garden hose, for instance. A rotatable valve allows selective application of water or diluted product. Additional embodiments include a trigger assembly that allows selective application of water for either of the water-rinse or diluted product application.

  • Publication number: 20040040506
Abstract: A high throughput apparatus for depositing one or more thin film layers on a plurality of continuous web substrates. The apparatus includes a pay-out unit for dispensing a plurality of webs, a deposition unit that receives the plurality of webs and deposits a series of one or more thin film layers thereon, and a take-up unit that receives and stores the plurality of webs upon deposition of the thin film layers. High throughput is achieved through the simultaneous deposition of thin films on a plurality of web substrates. In a preferred embodiment, deposition occurs through plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition in which a plasma region is formed between a cathode in the deposition unit and the plurality of webs. Deposition precursors are introduced into the plasma region and are transformed to reactive species that form a thin film layer on the plurality of web substrates.

  • Patent number: 6038822
Abstract: Construction blocks having a generally octagonal configuration. The octagonal shape is defined by first through eighth external side portions respectively connected end-to-end to define an octagonal shape with respective first through eighth corners; a transverse chord portion extending from said first corner to said fourth corner; a perpendicular segment portion extending perpendicularly from said transverse chord portion to said third corner defining a right angled cutout; an angled segment portion extending from said second corner to said transverse chord portion defining a triangle cutout; and a middle cutout defined by said triangle cutout, said right angle cutout and said transverse cord portion.

  • Patent number: 4037349
Abstract: An upstanding generally cylindrical body is provided and includes upper and lower vertically spaced closure walls extending and sealingly secured across the lower end portion of the body. An upwardly opening water receptacle is defined above the upper closure wall and a closed airtight chamber is defined within the body between the upper and lower closure walls. An inverted U-shaped tube has one end thereof secured downwardly through the upper closure wall and the other end has a reverse bend formed therein and includes an upwardly directed terminal end having a tubular valve body supported therefrom.

  • Patent number: 3972145
Abstract: An upstanding generally cylindrical body is provided and includes upper and lower vertically spaced closure walls extending and sealingly secured across the lower end portion of the body. An upwardly opening water receptacle is defined above the upper closure wall and a closed airtight chamber is defined within the body between the upper and lower closure walls. A tubular valve body is supported from and opens through the upper closure wall and has a valve element shiftably supported from the valve body for movement between open and closed positions. A support member is threadedly engaged with the end of the sleeve opening upwardly through the upper closure wall and includes an abutment portion selectively engageable with the valve element to variably displace the latter away from a closed position toward an open position for variably controlling the venting of air from the airtight chamber through the tubular valve body into the receptacle and aerating water disposed therein.
