Abstract: This application relates to Al—Mn—Zr based alloys, which when processed by (i) a conventional manufacturing technique (e.g. casting), (ii) an additive manufacturing technique utilizing a melting process, or (iii) a powder metallurgy process can provide a fabricated component with significantly improved strength, creep resistance and/or thermal stability at elevated temperatures, and printability in additive manufacturing and weldability in traditional manufacturing compared to conventional aluminum alloy.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a variable displacement fluid pump, comprising: a) one or more cylinder portions comprising an internal cylinder diameter and a first cylinder end and second cylinder end; b) at least one multiport valve; c) one or more packing boxes comprising one or more packing box seals, an internal packing box diameter and a first packing box end and a second packing box end; d) one or more piston portions; e) at least one linear multiport valve actuator capable of rotating the multiport valve to selectively align the one or more inlet ports and/or one or more outlet ports; and f) at least one linear piston actuator comprising a piston actuator plunger capable of being engaged with the piston portion mount and capable of providing a discharge stroke and a suction stroke.

Abstract: An electronic proof of entitlements management system that provides the ability to create entitlement record based on customer entitlement purchase, to update elements of the entitlement entity based on entitlement owner authority, and to transfer entitlements to other computer system, both intra-organization and inter-organization. The electronic proof of entitlements in some embodiments are retained and maintained in an Internet-accessible license management database that can be used by customers via web-based support tools to access, view, print, transfer and update the electronic proofs of entitlement. These electronic proofs of entitlement may also be used by software vendor to verify entitlement for software upgrades and process purchases of additional entitlement.

Abstract: A vehicle safety belt test apparatus and method is described. The apparatus is comprised of a frame which is adapted to be positioned on a seat of a vehicle and disposed to distribute pressure substantially evenly on the seat. One or more pistons are secured to the frame and to a seat belt support curved member. The support curved member is adapted to receive opposed free ends of two spaced-apart seat belt portions of a seat belt thereover with a buckle of the seat belt securing the opposed free ends together. The seat belt portions are secured at a securing end to a frame of a vehicle. A pressure control device is provided to actuate the pistons to displace the seat belt support member relative to the frame whereby to exert a predetermined force on the seat belt portions to test the restraining strength of the seat belt.
