  • Patent number: 5912256
Abstract: A series of 1-(4-indolyloxy)-3-(4-hydroxy-4-naphthylpiperidin-1-yl)propanes are effective pharmaceuticals for the treatment of conditions related to or affected by the reuptake of serotonin and by the serotonin 1.sub.A receptor, yet lack mutagenic potential as measured by assays of chromosomal aberration. The compounds are particularly useful for alleviating the symptoms of nicotine and tobacco withdrawal, and for the treatment of depression and other conditions for which serotonin reuptake inhibitors are used.

  • Patent number: 5636809
Abstract: A cage for display of and storage of reels of cable, wire, chain, rope and the like having a six sided, wire formed arrangement with the sides thereof providing bearings for an axle upon which the reel rotates for material removal, a movable back section which is biased to provide a brake against free reel rotation and thus uncoiling of the material, a top and bottom and a front with the front providing a pricing or information section and an end receiving element to receive and removeably retain the end of the material during nonuse. The movable back not only acts as a brake but also allows reel mounting without having to physically lift the reel. The cage is also arranged for stacking of like cages.

  • Patent number: 5499727
Abstract: A rack system for mounting, displaying and dispensing of spooled cable, wire, chain, rope and the like including a longitudinally extending mounting bar to receive dual reel axle ends for mounting of a reel therebetween or receiving a continuous, multiple or individual axles for mounting a number of reels, at least one spring brake arranged to mount on the mounting bar to work and brake against the spooled material, an adjustable stop bar independently carried to prevent natural spring uncoiling despooling of the material from the reel and a display panel integral with the mounting bar for material identification. The rack provides a unit which allows for ease of individual reel removal, service or replacement; a compact, inherently neat and safe display area and a unit that may be free standing or wall mounted.

  • Patent number: 4936634
Abstract: A removable wheel tread adjusting device used for facilitating the axial displacement of a tractor wheel assembly is adaptable to the exterior surface of the wheel assembly and can be utilized for the same task on similar wheel assembly structures. Specifically, the removable adjusting device supports a gear which intermeshes with a rack extending lengthwise along the axle and is capable of receiving torque from a tool so as to effect the axial displacement of the wheel assembly relative to the axle.
