  • Patent number: 10132437
Abstract: A fluid connector comprising a base having a first through-hole concentrically positioned therein, the base comprising a first inner surface and a first outer surface, the base comprising at least one annular groove extending radially outwardly from the first inner surface, at least one ring-shaped seal, each seal located within the at least one annular groove, a washer positioned within the first through-hole, the washer having an inwardly facing partially spherical surface, and, a body having a second through-hole positioned therein, the body comprising a second inner surface and a second outer surface, wherein the second outer surface is partially spherical in shape, wherein the second outer surface of the body engages the at least one seal and the inwardly facing partially spherical surface of the washer, wherein the body is arranged to swivel within the second through-hole, and to pass fluid through the second through-hole.

  • Patent number: 10125908
Abstract: A fluid coupling has an outlet for receiving the lead end of a tubular fluid conduit having an external locking shoulder. The coupling also holds within it adjacent an outlet a valve body that is normally closed, but is contacted and displaced against the closing force of a bias spring to open the outlet when the conduit is fully inserted and locked into the coupling by way of said locking shoulder.

  • Patent number: 9739367
Abstract: A valve is mounted in a first bore in a first separable section of a transmission to block or allow fluid flow through the first bore to a second bore in a second transmission section depending on whether the first and second sections are joined together or separated. A movable portion of the valve is responsive to an actuator during relative movement of the transmission sections to shift between fluid flow open and fluid flow closed positions. The valve can include a valve housing fixed in the first bore and a carrying plunger biased to the fluid blocking position and responsive to the actuator for movement to the fluid flow open position. The valve forms a fluid flow path between the first and second bores across the gap between the facing surfaces of the joined transmission sections.
