    Abstract: Featured is a projection lens assembly including a plurality or more of optical elements, whose optical elements are configured and arranged so the configuration and arrangement substantially maintains the shape of the images being displayed throughout a hemispherical screen. That is, the optical elements are configured and arranged so to introduce a predetermined amount of distortion that substantially maintains the shape of the images being displayed on the screen from the zenith to near the edge of the field of view.
