  • Publication number: 20240109564
Abstract: A method is provided that can include activating at least two wireless communication channels in parallel, between a first wireless transceiver and a second wireless transceiver. Each of the at least two wireless communication channels can operate at a different radio carrier frequency, and the first wireless transceiver may be part of a first vehicle. The method can also include transmitting, by the first wireless transceiver, common information in parallel on the at least two wireless communication channels to the second wireless transceiver and deactivating the at least two wireless communication channels.

  • Patent number: 10285059
Abstract: After a failed association attempt by an electronic device, an access point may facilitate trouble shooting by determining information associated with the electronic device. For example, the access point may receive at least an instruction from a computer associated with a network administrator to create a personal WLAN having a user-specific SSID. This user-specific SSID may correspond to a user of the electronic device (such as the user's name) or may be independently provided to the user by the network administrator. Then, the electronic device may associate with the access point to join the personal WLAN. In response, the access point may determine the MAC address of the electronic device. Next, the access point may provide the MAC address to the computer, so that the network administrator can identify the electronic device in the WLAN and/or can obtain additional information that can be used to solve the association problem.

  • Patent number: 4395613
Abstract: A universal electrode holder having a holder body including a top face, a bottom face, perpendicular sidewalls and end walls, wherein one side wall is stepped to define offset lower and upper surface portions joined by a horizontally disposed connecting surface portion; a reference plate having a reference surface disposed to extend transversely of the lower and connecting surface portions; an indexing plate having an indexing surface and being slidably mounted on the lower and connecting surface portions to selectively vary the distance between the reference and indexing surfaces; a clamp device fixed to the holder body for releasably clamping an electrode of rectangular cross section in a mounted position, wherein its opposite edge surfaces engage with the reference and indexing surfaces, its upper and rear side surfaces engage with the connecting and lower surface portions and its front side surface engages with the clamping device; mounting and aligning means including a plurality of ribs depending from t
