  • Publication number: 20240092500
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for receiving data related to a first flight risk factor and a second flight risk factor where the first and second risk factors include one of: a proficiency risk factor, an equipment risk factor, an environmental risk factor, or a performance risk factor. Applying a first weighting to the first flight risk factor to generate a first weighted flight risk factor, and applying a second weighting to the second flight risk factor to generate a second weighted flight risk factor. Assessing a flight risk level for a flight based on the first weighted flight risk factor and the second weighted flight risk factor. Providing data indicating the assessed flight risk level for the flight for display to a user.

  • Patent number: 7606635
Abstract: A system, apparatus and method for controlling environmental zones in a residence or other building using radio frequency enabled environmental controllers. At least one damper is associated with each of the various zones. From each environmental controller, a command is wirelessly transmitted, where the command includes an environmental control command and a respective unique identifier associated with the environmental controller. The command is received at a zone controller, and each environmental controller is bound with a respective one of the zones using the respective unique identifier associated with the environmental controller. The damper(s) associated with the zone that is bound with the environmental controller associated with the unique identifier from the command are operated in response to the zone controller. Environmental adjustment equipment is operated, which is responsive to the zone controller to execute the environmental control command.

  • Patent number: 4428576
Abstract: A suspended cycle riding device having an upright column; an arm extended across and rotationally mounted on the upper end of the column; a pair of cycle frames individually suspended at their upper portions from the opposite ends of the arm by a pivot for centrifugally urged movement of the frame outwardly of the column as the arms and the frames rotate about the column; elements for limiting such pivotal movement and for supporting the frame on the arm in the event of failure of the pivot; a seat and a set of pedals on each frame for an operator; a hydraulic drive from the pedals for rotationally driving the arm and frames about the column, the drive substantially preventing rotation of each pedal set when it is not being pedaled.

  • Patent number: 4335626
Abstract: An adjustable turning ratio rotary positioning mechanism has rotary drive and driven members coupled by a flexible drive band, such as a sprocket chain, with oppositely movable runs between the members which are laterally displaceable during rotation of the drive member in such a way as to selectively provide the positioning mechanisms with different predetermined turning ratios, i.e., the turning angle(s) of the driven member(s) per unit turning angle of the drive member. A camera dolly steering mechanism embodying a rotary positioning mechanism according to the invention actuated by a single cam on the dolly steering shaft for selectively steering the dolly in round, crab, and conventional steering modes.
