  • Patent number: 6809627
Abstract: A fuse indicator is disclosed for indicating the status of a fuse. The fuse indicator includes an electrically conductive material that extends between conductive ends of a fuse and undergoes a visible change in appearance upon being subjected to electrical current above a threshold. The fuse indicator also includes a layer of indicator material that becomes exposed beneath the electrically conductive material when the fuse indicator is subjected to electrical current above the threshold. The fuse indicator also includes adhesive for maintaining contact between the electrically conductive material and the layer of indicator material.

  • Patent number: 6459357
Abstract: A fuse indicator is disclosed for indicating the status of a fuse. The fuse indicator includes an electrically conductive material extending between conductive ends of a fuse. The material undergoes a visible change in appearance upon being subjected to electrical current above a threshold. The fuse indicator further includes a layer of indicator material that becomes exposed beneath the electrically conductive material when the fuse indicator is subjected to electrical current above the threshold. An adhesive means maintains contact between said fuse indicator and the fuse.

  • Patent number: 6292087
Abstract: A fuse indicator is disclosed for indicating the status of a fuse. The fuse indicator includes a conductive material adapted to extend between conductive ends of a fuse, and adapted to undergo a visible change in appearance upon being subjected to electrical current above a threshold. The fuse indicator further includes an adhesive for maintaining contact between the conductive material and the conductive ends of the fuse.

  • Patent number: 5186686
Abstract: A link for use in a link-type rotary coupling. The link has an elastomeric bearing which incorporates a pair of cavities that provide discontinuities for preventing the transfer of tensile stresses in the elastomeric layers when the link is tensioned axially while permitting the elastomeric layers to accept compressive stresses when the link is compressed axially. The resulting link is durable.

  • Patent number: 4783327
Abstract: A method of removing SO.sub.2 from a gas stream containing the same by absorbing the SO.sub.2 in an aqueous solution containing a 4-(2-hydroxyalkyl)-2-piperazinone compound or an alkyl or aryl substituted derivative thereof. These compounds provide an absorbent solution which is less subject to loss during the regeneration step and yet effectively remove the SO.sub.2 from the gas stream without interference from other associated gases.

  • Patent number: 4725373
Abstract: New compositions of matter are disclosed which are the products resulting from reacting an alkyl substituted aromatic heterocyclic nitrogen-containing compound such as 2,4,6-trimethylpyridine or 2,3,5,6-tetramethylpyrazine with a dicarboxylic acid monoanhydride such as 2-dodecen-1-yl succinic anhydride. These compositions are useful in preventing corrosion of metallic articles in corrosive environments. They are particularly useful in down hole oil and gas well applications.

  • Patent number: 4714736
Abstract: Polyamide solutions for imparting wet strength to paper are stabilized by acidifying uncrosslinked polyamide solutions prior to storage or prior to crosslinking with epichlorohydrin to form polyamide resins. The acidification of the uncrosslinked solutions allows for storage without refrigeration. The acidification prior to crosslinking results in wet strength resins that are stable at solids concentrations of at least 30% and that exhibit high strength when the resins are post cooked to a viscosity of between about 325 and 425 cps.
