  • Publication number: 20250282108
Abstract: A method for forming a molded device comprising an angle plate, comprising: positioning in a mold ore or more first preform comprising a free first end and wherein the first preform comprises a first thermoplastic material and a plurality of elongated fibers; and positioning in the mold one or more filler comprising a second thermoplastic material; and compressing, by translating at least a first surface of the mold in at least a ?Z-direction, the free first end of one or more of the first preform from a first position of the first end to a second position of the first end.

  • Publication number: 20250156603
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for forming a composite device of fiber-comprising tows, including: forming a first preform model having one or more anisotropic tow layup portions including fiber-comprising tows, receiving one or more mold geometrical components, receiving one or more molding force vector parameters comprising a compressive force, deforming the first preform model against the mold geometrical components using the molding force vector parameters to form an intermediate device model, forming a second preform model by adjusting the first preform model, and transmitting the second preform model to one or more systems for applying an elongate fiber tow onto an object surface, wherein adjusting the first preform model comprises cutting one or more of the tows into first tow and second tow segments to form a gap separating the first tow segment from the second tow segment along a corresponding tow path within the anisotropic tow layup portion.

  • Publication number: 20250010557
Abstract: Examples provide computer-implemented methods for forming a fiber-reinforced composite device comprising fiber-comprising tows. Methods include forming a first preform model having one or more anisotropic tow layup portions comprising fiber-comprising tows; receiving one or more mold geometrical components; receiving one or more molding force vector parameters; forming a n intermediate device model by deforming the first preform model against the mold geometrical components using the molding force vector parameters; and forming a second preform model. Forming the second preform model includes adjusting the first preform model by forming a tow layup adjustment vector comprising one or more vectors extending from one or more tow of the fist preform model to one of more tow of the second preform model as a function of one or more position transformation vectors extending from one or more tow of the first preform model to one or more tow of the intermediate device model.

  • Publication number: 20070101456
Abstract: The invention relates to genetic manipulation and evaluation of soybean seed, particularly for the enlargement and use of endosperm tissue for galactomannan gum extraction. A method for combining several elements which have heretofore been misunderstood or were unknown, is presented. The resulting enlarged endosperm tissue has many commercial uses.

  • Patent number: 6770598
Abstract: Expression and stability of desirable proteins in transgenic plants are promoted and maintained by treatment with a protein transport enhancer. Preferably, the transgenic plant is a commodity crop that has been modified to express pesticidally effective protein proteins.
